@wtfjaftw I'm actually in favour of legalizing pot for both recreational and industrial purposes and I'm more than aware of its food benefits. However those who promote it as a magic bullet for all our ills living in a dream world.

The thousands of uses ultimately require land that is needed for a more diverse and complete diet. No culture existed on a diet of pot seeds alone.

But you know there are better ways to see if the sun is warming the solar system up and it makes a lot more sense than measuring planets we don't really know a lot about and then guessing if it's the sun. It's called direct measurement of the sun. And guess what? It hasn't been warming since 1980. Sun spots are an indicator of solar activity but you don't understand them well.

Growing pot for biofuel isn't wise. It takes up land that is needed for growing food and it uses too much fertilizer and produces too much CO2 to be a net benefit. Last time people started growing crops for bio-fuel it helped cause a food crisis. Algae will be a better choice.
