I was actually in a show very similar to this when I was 17 years old back in the summer of 1976. It was my hometown's 100th year celebration. I absolutely love this film because it is EXACTLY like the show I was in...LOL!

i love this movie! you know, as silly as we know that it is, it's rather endearing that the audience is really taken by it, it shows a lot of heart. i've done some hokey shows back in college but i never take for granted the unconditional support we got from the friends and families that came to see us.
