@rustown1 Heh, yes he is. He has a bad lazy eye without his glasses. Corky told him he couldn't wear them during this scene because they didn't have glasses during that time period even though they did have glasses back then. LOL
'What did your keen and perceptive eyes behold?' LOL...he can't see anything because he's not wearing his glasses!Levy's a master of that cross-eyed,blind look.Check out how he stumbles down from the horse ahaha!
I was actually in a show very similar to this when I was 17 years old back in the summer of 1976. It was my hometown's 100th year celebration. I absolutely love this film because it is EXACTLY like the show I was in...LOL!
I just noticed that when Catherin says[ California will be a sight for these wary eyes ] its almost has the same delivery that Ed Norton gave in the chef of the future Honey Mooners episode were he is on the set with Ralph doing the can opener commercial and he says - [ I wish i had a can opener that would do the work of all of these ] LMAO
Eugene look's like the winter warlock from santa clause is coming to town ...LMFAO..when they filmed this im thinking how the f--k did the extras in the audience keep a straight face
You know the only thing I can think of when I see this is that my plays never had that nice of sets or costumes whenever I've done community theater. Where's the director's couch!?
It would be cool if someone would share the whole movie on youtube. I really want to see it, but can't find it online without buying a membership to some site or downloading something to be able to watch it. I love Christopher Guest and all the regulars he uses, geniuses, especially Parker Posey.
when I first watched this movie and he said "everybody dance" it sounded so gay I had to rewind it like 20 times to hear it over again because I couldn't stop laughing from it.
i love this movie! you know, as silly as we know that it is, it's rather endearing that the audience is really taken by it, it shows a lot of heart. i've done some hokey shows back in college but i never take for granted the unconditional support we got from the friends and families that came to see us.
hahahaha!! I think my favorite part of this scene is at 1:55 where Catherine O'Hara and Fred Willard go "Hubbub hub hub hubb" to make it look like they're "talking"!! HAHAHA!! Priceless. Thanks for posting this! :)
Did anybody else notice Catherine O'Hara just said "hub hub hub" while everyone else said "salt water" Hahahah
