This song honestly made me tear up, and that was before I jumped on youtube to find this clip. So heartfelt, so sad. Joey, you are an amazing songwriter with an equally amazing voice. My husband and I saw your last show with Lagwagon in Perth, Western Australia, a couple of years ago. I am so glad I got to see you live, one of the best nights ever! Come back to WA soon and please, don't stop writing amazing music.
At first i found this song to be good, but not great. But after a few weeks, it has grown and now i like it alot. I think it's one of those songs where Cape's singing is doing most of the work on the song. Which is fine, because it's awesome. =)
In 1986 as a 14/15 year old kid growing up in Oxnard, when I got the Nardcore comp, with so many great bands on there, it is always hard to choose but "Tell me How" from Ratt Pack always ends up winning (though US Steel is a close 2nd)
We've lost to many of my heros from that comp like Henry, Mark, Jason, Bommer and most recently Matt and a few others from my understanding. Thanks for the song Joey.
