@FALLENANGEL1R I just barely soft modded the PS2 myself, but yes you can use USB (I think this requires USB Advance ELF file o.O don't know though) and I suppose a jailbroken ipod could do the trick (though I don't know). Hope it helped ;P

Any way you could help me to get my ps2 with FreeMcBoot on the memory card to play PS1 back ups without an original ps1 game? I have been scouring the interwebz and can't find a straight answer. I've turned by .bin and .cue into a .iso. And I am dieing to play Ape Escape.

Does this boot PS2 CD backups because I haven't had any luck so far booting PS2 CD backups with Cogswap? However, I've had luck booting PS2 DVD backups just not CD backups.

How did you get CD Loader onto MC Boot? I know you need an ELF file to do it, but I'm not very experienced in this to understand exactly how it worked. If there is any way you could tell me, or even email me your installer, that'd be helpful.

What's with all the swaps? I thought that you just use a patched backup and launch/boot it with ESR using FreeMCBoot. I figured that this "CDboot" was for booting PS2 or PS1 backups made on CD-R/RW from CD-based originals (blue PS2 games and all PS1 games), but you demenstrated with a burned DVD backup of a DVD game.

Sorry for the late reply, I did not use ESR but instead I use Freemcboot, because ESR requires patching before you burn a game and I don't like my backups to be patched I copied them normally on nero
