what if the floor is not level. then it defeats the purpose of using that. plus if you are building a bench i would use a full size level instead of a torpedo

And make sure its able to take about 620lbs better geting strong 4ft wood.wouldnt like picking up 55gals of water.

i made one like that. its a little wobbly cuz some of the wood wasnt cut perfectly but 6 3ft pressure treated 2x4s should be enough to support the weight of a 40 gallon long tank

How did you build it for less then $12? Did you already have most of the material?
