been reading up on the plague, fleas are the transmitters on the mice and then they get on your cats and dog and people. also talked about hanta virus close form of a plague. clean sterilize your house if you pets are in the yard (fleas) and check for mice and thier droppings. its not a sin to get a mouse its a sin to keep the mouse. check for sick and dying animals around, 3 animal strains and 1 human strain.

There were recently two pets discovered with bubonic plague in Northern New Mexico as well. Hantavirus has already killed a few people this year and H1N1 is gradually creeping in from Mexico. Several people in the border towns of Chihuahua and Juarez have died from the virus. I will try to find the articles I read to back up the info. Thank you Christianna for all you do.

Actually the 4 Corners has had very suspicious plague-like illness from the hunta virus. Ppl in Colorado have died from it, I would bet this is the hunta virus he died from. They've tried to cover it up, but it really is the bubonic plague. It's been going on for the last 15 years.

i don't understand... it says "Between five and 15 Americans die from plague in an average year. " yet they say it is the first human case? it also says "Whenever there is a human case of plague, the [New Mexico] Department of Health takes several steps to ensure the safety of the immediate family, ..." still not good news, but it sounds contradictory... :-(

@skybirdbird It's actually NOT THE FIRST CASE of this plague here in the States. Its happened at least 2 other times (from what I know). These things are not documented in the history books or any of the likes of for people to know about because of fear. Maybe there were refering to it being the first case in several years? I don't know.

you can bet we need to start sterilizing our homes so that we do not bring any little gifts that are outside into our safe havens.
