The ONLY reason they lost is because they didn't have anyone to defend Howard. Howard is an amazing player, and can even win multiple MVP awards once he gets a low post move, but Lebron can't defend everyone.

Now they have Shaq which will be able to slow Howard down, which will be enough to take them on.

And I wouldn't exactly say Artest helped the Lakers that much. Ariza has much more potential than Artest, and Artest has proven he can't defend Lebron. And we know he can't Shaq.

Weird, Dwight is the only one that posted better numbers than Shaq last year....and that was on a team that played the exact opposite style that he plays which means his stats were hindered.
