Two of my favourites as well. Try Mairtin O'Connor, Seamie O'Dowd & Cathal Hayden, they just brought out a new CD recently called Crossroads, great stuff!
I`m really..SHOCKED. That`s awesome! I just love that sound. Everyone in Flook is extremly skilled and got a perfect technique. I wish i could play the guitar like Ed. Just: WOW!
i gotta say... brian finnegan is amazing on this track. but I just noticed the ridiculous melodies the flautist ( I forget her name ) is doin. Those are ridiculous flutter harmonies!
Thank you!!
This sound flows through the shallow channels!!!

is this reel or a collaboration thing they composed?
kevinmeehan71 5 months ago
@kevinmeehan71
This tune was originally a Scottish pipe tune written by the late Gordon Duncan and recorded by him on his album "Circular Breath"

Excellent version of a truly great pipe tune by Gordon Duncan! He was the best thing to happen to Scottish music in a long time. Thank you, Gordon!

Does anyone know what key this is in. I believe the guitar tuning that Ed Boyd is using is DADGAD but I'm not sure of the key. My guess is A.
brandofalcon 3 years ago
he is playing an E flat whistle but normally this tune would be in A because its a highland piping tune
