The F-14 is actually more agile i watched heavy metal Saturday morning and it did an over wiew about it and mentioned the F-18 as more of a bomber/ missle aircraft and teh F-14 as more of a tactical Dog fighter so you might want to look into the F-14.

It's a feature of the FA-18, you only control flaps on the ground, in the air they respond according to what you are doing and airspeed. So if you're flying at 130 knots the flaps should be extended automatically.

i bought this i do recomend it for those who just want to fly around but when it comes to realism captainsim dissapointed me greatly with this package especially withe the f-117 they gave it a fa-18 cockpit made it carrier capable plus when it comes to real turn radius and fuel consumption captainsim didn't do to well but over all i believe it is a alright product considering the cheap price
