Why do Muslim radicals feel they have the right to attack people of other faiths in other countries & think the countries shouldn't have the right to fight back? Keep reading in media that Muslims feel their religion is "under attack" but what I see are Muslims "attacking other religions". Why is there so much dis-connect & lack of commonsense by many (not all) Muslims? Why do they feel people of other faiths & countries dont have right to protect themselves from Muslim terriorists?

However, I do wonder & genuinely curious why seemingly Muslims, more so than other groups, often do not assimilate into their new culture as well as others. I will admit that often the "loudest", which isnt necessarily the majority, often r portrayed for speaking for all in one group. Cud this be a possibility with Muslims? What pct feel this way vs the ones that want to assimilate?

But, what I am talking about is "getting along" with other ppl & religions. In US Jews may not assimilate in all aspects but they 4 the most part "get along". Muslims in US may differ from UK because I cant seem to get them to answer my questions about their religion & I do not come at them in a aggresive manner. Living in New York it is a worry because it is a place where terrorists focus on. Muslims I see r mostly store owners & seem nice. However my attempt at dialogue go un-answered. From other blog forums I see Muslims in US & UK differ.

MUslim population in uk live very happily with other british citizens.. every mosque has conference centres which welcome people of all faiths.. overall their is so much love for muslims in uk that during london riots of last summer, it was ramadan and muslims were doing long period of praying in mosques.. people of other communities Christians,sikhs, hindus stood all night protecting mosques while we prayed. this is true brotherhood.

@positivethinkinghope i should make things more clear, not only mosques but lots of other shops, homes, streets and neighbour hoods were protected. obviously there are black sheeps in every community, the london riots probably consisted of all of them lol.. i mean chritians, sikhs, hindus all protected mosques.. but then again people from all those faiths also participated in london riots.. its important to distinguish that majority from all communities showed disgust at youths..

They should ban Islam in the West. When the doors were opened to the Hindus of India in the UK to combat the labour shortage, they were opened to the Muslims as well. Most people who criticize Quran tend to pull verses "out of context." That is the core of the issue at hand. The fellow is reading the verses out of context and verse 4:38 is not what read. You need to read the verse before and the verse after of the verse he is coating. Some times you have to read the whole paragraph or whole chapter to really understand. I request everyone in the audience, especially to all women to read complete Quran translation. There is a whole chapter dedicated to women - chapter 4 called “women”.

They should ban Islam in the West. When the doors were opened to the Hindus of India in the UK to combat the labour shortage, they were opened to the Muslims as well. @TheCommandModule English is a incomplete language and is not as complex and in depth as Arabic, in fact, Arabic has twice as more alphabets than English. It is a old language. Most people who criticize Quran tend to pull verses "out of context." That is the core of the issue at hand. The Quran can't be read as a story book, and it most certainly can not be understood over night. It takes patience and time and most importantly it requires prior knowledge of the Abrahamic faiths.

@tigerrc221 Are you kidding? There are so many languages in the world that have more alphabets than Arabic even, does that mean Quran is very much more understood in that language? We are not pulling quran verses "out of context", your own muslim people are following "out of context" verses and are currently threat to the international peace. I believe if at all this is word of God, then it should not leave any confusion. Jesus says "Do not kill", means "DO NOT KILL", there is no provided clause

So in order to know whether quran is word of God or not, one verse and a common sense is enough. I don't need to study it and waste my time in vain.

@tigerrc221 I'm sorry but I don't agree with you about the English language not being as "depth" or "complex" as Arabic. All languages tend to place more "depth" or "complexity" in certain areas than other languages. I would say that certain specific verses in the Quran, that can be "misinterpreted", were written according to a historical context and/or cultural context.

Please study the last lecture of prophet Muhammed (PBU) who advised to avoid EXTREMISM. The problem in the Muslim countries is ISLAMI PARTIES. When all are Muslims, any Islami party creates divisions within the same Muslim community. ISLAMI EXTREMIST CLERICS/MULLAHS are the main problem. So, please lead your life according to HOLY QURAN but not according to any CLERICS. Always reject any group or Islami party which believes in VIOLENCE.
