  • I guess I use my old SCUBA diving gloves? They look very similar to those for the exception of the camouflage. lol Thanks!

  • your funny you remind me of a childhood friend,he was the one who acted like he was shot all the time win we play war, lol, will you be my fried?

  • lol

  • nice vest

  • massive carbon footprint, make the fabric in the us, fly the fabric to Pakistan, assemble the glove, then fly the finished glove back to the us for retail????? freakin mad or what???

  • lol @ his comment about making the gloves in pakistan, the glave manufacturers just need to be more clear about their product i could see why he was confused but basically its made in pakistan it would be cheaper if the material was already in pakistan though that would just be 1 way imort not export import which i do think is not the most cost effective or efficient way but hey nothings perfect

  • you cant get them made in usa because nobody will sew them for $1 a day!!

    great videos

  • Do people having the tendency to grossly mispronounce Neoprene? If so does it really matter? They are more commonly known as nee eh prene & Neprene. It varies by dialect. I think nee eh prene is the actual name.

  • @PopcornCoolie ive only seen it spelt neoprene. and as for pronounciation, ive only heard nee-oh-prene, except maybe the speed at which its spoken in normal conversation it sounds somewhat like nee eh prene

  • ok any glove would do good but this glove has non slip grip but so does mcuh cheaper gloces and they do the same thing .......durrr

  • i cant imagine his gloves are all that expensive relative to "mcuh cheaper gloces"

  • Usually they have a rape price on them because these vendors know that the majority of users are government workers. Such as Police, fire, rescue, sanitations, utility, Feds and military. They buy most of their gear with provisionary allowance which is funded by tax money. SO the buyers don't care because it's not their money. It's just another way the government wastes your tax money while sending it to asia in the process.

  • Many believe since they are so thin that they don't have a good grip. Less and less things are american made, so what good is college? You study to be a doctor, lawyer or engineer because jobs are being phased to asia but the pay decreases because the abundance of doctors, lawyers and engineers lowers their value. More & more asian engineers & doctors here too. Whatever we expect they will work for less and there is no limit to how low they will go. Your parents were wrong be a rockstar.

  • you ship things abroad to get things made because the labour is a lot cheaper in other countries therefore increasing the profit for the company selling the glove

  • he was making a statement relative to his political and social views on society

  • Comment removed

  • what about putting silicone on leather gloves to waterproof?!

  • bad idea......

  • Ahhhh!.. AHHH!! Holy crap dude, we are capable of blinking on our own!

  • i agree with the grip good for goose and duck hunting cant beat being out in the woods with your dad im 16 i love every minute i get to spend in the woods nature is just a good way to get away from alot keep up the videos there good

  • lol ur just like me-easily distracted

  • what about triple layer? or more? :D

  • because then the glove wouldn't fit

  • and if the glove does not fit, then oviously he didnt do it

    get it? OJ reference

  • im saying an average of 25 C couple summers ago we had like 35 C pretty hot for canada

  • Neoprene is a good glove and nice for many purposes. Keep them washed and very clean though. If you just use them and dont clean them regular, your hands will smell like feet that have been in a pair of socks for a week. Also, understand that they absorb water quite easily. This means if you are thinking of using them in a Nuclear, Biological, or Chemical environment they will kill you, otherwise they are a fine choice for general use.

  • @hrwulf Good thoughtfull advice.

  • If you want thicker neopream gloves goto a diveing store.. they can get them up to 7mm or even 8mm and they are durable I have a pair look just like that but black and for diveing they use better nepoream for diveing stuff because the cheaper stuff wont last being compressed and rexpanded over and over so they should last longer.. I use a thinner pair I bought at a dive store and they are tough gloves.. cost more though :P

  • canada gets like -15C worst we had this year is -38C its getting warmer now though in march prob bout -9 C by the end of may it will be + 25 C canada pretty weird for that goes from one extreme to another from etreme cold to extreme heat.

  • SymAmineC8H11N - if its retarded, dont bother watching.

  • my bad, uhmm... how much did those cost you, there? you should try for some nbc bdu's if you're worried about survival in the case of wmd impending doom.

  • @SymAmineC8H11N FUCK THE CROWS!

  • damn wish we had crows in canada like u guys got there

  • cool wepons cool tips

  • adamdm87 is right i use neoprene gloves down to 5 degrees F, on a regular basis they work for about 35 min before i need to something else for my hands.

  • NEO-PRENE haha must really be trying to get the point across

  • i'm still supprised on how many people pronounce is neopreme...

  • Nothing is made AND assembled in America anymore...great video, nonetheless.

  • Just to add my two cents:

Neopreme gloves are great. I depend on them down to -10 C (20 F I guess) for up to a couple of hours at a time working at a ski hill (moving around though).

  • Glad to see you back.

  • Although my comment has nothing to do with staying warm, I thought that you and the people that subscribe to your video feeds would or should be concerned about. Dude, be aware of Codex Alimentarius, its an agenda to be fully implemented 12/31/2009. Concerns new controls on worldwide food source.

  • Gloves are like combs to me; I just keep losing them. Super cold out here now, wish I knew where my warm ones were.

  • When are you going to make more camping video's?

  • Didn't You have 318 videos at one point, what happened to the other videos?

Oh and when can we expect to see new videos?

  • I am Canadian, and I have found fold up mittens with fingerless glove combo in a wool/cotton interior to be the best for dexterity and warmth. But not advised for heavy work like carrying wood and such, Always have a heavy full mittens for general work and duties.

Underarmor is an amazing new brand that offers very very good insulation. Its like goretex but for the cold.

  • Lucky Southerners and your warm winters :+)

It gets cold as @#$% up here but I'll trade it for the lack of flooding, hurricanes, and bugs. It just sucks to be outside in January.

  • Up here in Michigan I use wool with a wind-stop barrier glove/mitten. The mitten portion is a flap that folds back from the glove when you need your trigger finger or all fingers at a given moment. Highly recommended for 32 degrees and below.

  • your tips are excellent. thanks!

  • Thanks for the update. Still haven't received your opinion of my video's yet. Kory

  • I like your vids so far, got a lot more to watch though!

I've got a pair of gloves I find particularly good for hunting etc. They're black neoprene and pretty tight fitting. I got them from Mole Valley Farmers, which is a store over here in the UK and they were labelled as riding gloves. They're really slender so there's no problems fitting your fingers in the trigger guard and getting a good feel on it and also if they get soaking wet they act like a wetsuit and get really warm.

  • Your vids are getting better. You look in good shape man, god bless you and you family. Peace...

  • hey man i saw your weatherby vanguard .270 vid, and i just wanted to let you know im getting it in Sub Matte MOA .300 wby mag or 300 win mag. I also live in the Southeast

  • i really like your videos by the way.

  • neoprene is damned excellent in my opinion, keep those hands dry, where i live it gets to -45 or lower sometimes, and even in oct-dec hunting season you better believe its cold, snow/ice on the ground..etc

not very hard to cut through though, so if you have any kind if cut resistant liner its even better, just incase those hands are cold when handling a knife

  • Why can't they make it here? Because the owner is too cheat to pay labor more than minimum wage to employees.

  • Why cant we make them here? Short answer, we can if your willing to pay more for the gloves. Its a matter of saving money, and that's another reason the US is were it is now.

  • It should be made here

  • fugees and funions....

  • How many deer this past season Kev?

  • excellent!

  • "why cant we just make it here"

hahahahahaahahaha best call I have heard all week, and so true

  • what is best for -35 to -40 degrees? i have always looked at fur lined leather mitts, or arctis thinsulate gloves but you cant shoot with those

  • I use neoprene gloves too. Only I use wool liners and hand warmers when it get to be around -15. Neoprene gloves are a good gloves. The only think I dont like is they are bulky and hard to work the safety and trigger. But, other than that there pritty good.

  • wat is with the screen blanking in and out?

  • This is the first video that I have spliced and edited several times, its this was kinda like an experiment. The fade effect is part of the video editing software. The next video will not have the fade between the clips. I dont think it looks very good, but its already been uploaded, so its too late now.

  • That doesnt work well up here in the midwest.

I like Thinsulate/Wool blend gloves the most, with the fingers cut out. Of course with a mitten cover that slips off easily for the fingers. Its got the best of both worlds, and try picking up a round of ammo in the dirt with those gloves. I guess lets see what it can do.

  • I don't like them, because if my hand sweats the next day the gloves are soaked inside and i can't use them.

  • Water or sweat should not hinder the function of neoprene. Like a wet suit it allows water or moisture in and allows it to heat. If your gloves are wet in the morning just put them back on and strap them down. They should warm up in a few minutes.

  • another good informative video. Welcome back. I agree with others posting the editing takes away the personality and normally you come across like one buddy talking to another. The editing removes that factor.

  • Any comments on Thinsulate?

I have been wearing a pair from Cabela's for the last 3 or 4 years, they're good for 10*F+

  • The crows are heckling Kev!

  • Kev, thanks for the info. I agree with the other viewers the transition fade-in-out is very harsh and this really pains me to say this as I am a fan of your videos... annoying, Im sorry. I enjoy your videos because they are not over edited - its like you are buddy telling me some good info... your good and very likeable personality comes thru better when its not edited out. =)

  • im glad too see you back the video was great keep them coming.

  • me too i really enjoy watching about them, glad to see someones taking responsibility and teaching there kids about guns, and a lot more people about gun safety.

  • lol no slip grip i saw that on a tampon comercal

  • the problem i have with gloves while shooting is that they get stuck in the trigger guard.

  • I still use Nomex. I guess I'm old-fashioned.

  • Gamehide makes some gloves that are good for your area Kev. They aren't waterproof, but they're exteremly warm, and they're the type of mittens that you can fold up onto the back of your hand and then you have fingerless gloves. I hunt in ME and it can get quite cold and they still work good.

Good video all around, but I must say I like them better without the editing.

    Thanks

  • might i also suggest "sealskinz"they are a thin waterproof glove. or sock as well, that vents nicely and keeps you dry, perfect for an internal dry glove, great videos my friend keep up the great work

  • Good stuff Kev.

  • Thank you.

  • I use some cheap but common brazen orange gloves with like a glue or rubber-like stuff spread across them to give them grip. Not good for anything below 40 degrees but they do good when you sweat and their tight enough to give a good grip ecspeccially with that rubber stuff.

I cut the finger tips off my index and middle finger and my thumb so I can tie knots and whatnot.

  • the transition effect is distracting

  • I remember 40yrs. ago in north Mississippi we made all the clothes, gloves and things we use. America was a great nation back then.

  • "Crows out there"

    Lol

  • i like those type of gloves, they keep heat in really good till you sweat through them

  • Great video.

  • I have a pair very simular and two weeks ago i went elk hunting. after getting my elk down and gutting it in 6 inches of snow the duel layer system got me warmed back up. If my hands or feet get to cold iam done. so a long story just to say i like the gloves. and keep up the good work.

  • Five Stars!!

  • lol

  • nice video...ive been looking for a good pair of gloves so i dont have to wear my mechanics gloves wen it gets cold
