  • I don't know why this is so female specific. I am a man, I'm always in that situation thinking "Why have I said yes? Why am I in this situation AGAIN? I don't have the energy or time for this". Fixing peoples cars, computers, helping them move house, painting a fence, knocking up logos for someones business cards, helping with friends homework . At work I end up doing half of other peoples jobs, that is where it worst.

  • I wholeheartedly accept that learning to say no is as much a male problem as a female. There may be some specific things that apply to each gender but, in principle, the skills are the same the the difficulty in saying no often arises from low self esteem, inability to create boundaries, and educate others how to treat you The reason I spoke specifically about women on this show was that that was the topic they were exploring. Learning to say no is a key to more harmonious relationships.
