Okay first, you have 2 males and 1 female. One is a Plakat (short finned) male -.-
Listen, you need a minimum of 55-100 gallons to keep multiple Bettas. The only reason they aren't attacking eachother is because the current is too strong for them )= Please remove your Bettas immediatly.
Wait just looked at the date this was published, have the Bettas died? If not follow my advice, they are stressed and hate current.
@TheBettalover123 Wrong, You have to have at least 15 gallons to keep 3 FEMALES, Keeping 1 male in a 15 gallon is fine. And you need more then 3, To spread out aggression so more like 6. So the tank will need to be even bigger, A 30 gallon is the minimum. NeontheBetta is right, To keep a male with 1 female, The tank needs to be over 100 gallons since he will harass and kill her in a smaller enviroment. That current is way too strong for those Bettas, Odds are they are dead anyway.
@TheBettalover123 You need at least 15 gallons to keep female Bettas together living PEACEFULLY, Without fighting or territorial disputes. Take it from someone who has been in the hobby for over 10 years, Who has bred and kept millions of male and female Betta Splendens. Keeping 3 in a 10 gallon will do nothing but cause fighting, It's not enough space for each female to maintain a territory each, They will fight and eventually you'll end up with just 1. So no, I am not wrong. 15 gallons minimum
@TheBettalover123 Prove it, Upload ALL the Betta's in more then a 5 gallons EACH, Filtered and heated tanks. Can't wait for you to answer this one. :')
@TheBettalover123 The only person I am challenging is you, Because you think you know EVERYTHING about Betta care and about fish, When you know absoultly nothing. Telling me, a FISHKEEPER Im wrong about keeping fish, When I have kept them for almost 12 years. When I actually know how to keep many species of fish succesfully and keep them happy and healthy. You say "1 litre for each fish" . . . . . Wrong! 5 gallons for EACH FISH. Not a litre, Don't write comments you know nothing about.
@brennansheppard1994 u know im not on either side but 1 betta can live in a 1-4 gallon tank but they wont live long maybe 1 year or less but like u said if u use a 5 gallon of up they will live longer than 3 years because they less stressed you probaly know tht but im saying anyway
@Neonthebetta No. That's wrong. Sorry. Those are female bettas. They died because of an infection. That hit the tank. The WHOLE tank.
You can have 5 female bettas in a 10 gallon, to try and keep females with 1 males, you need 20+ gallons and you have to make sure all the bettas are docile.
Actually wild bettas live in rivers. Please shut up. You have no idea what you're talking about. (:
Bettas need 5 gallons. Heated. Filtered.
Also: to keep multiple bettas you need 10+ gallons of water.
Smaller tanks are also much more expensive.
A 10 gal you do a water change every 5-7 days.
A 5 gal should have a water change every 3-5 days.
And most larger tanks don't have ammonia spikes as badly.
I have only 1 male betta and then danios, glowlight tetras, and corydoras. And 2 tanks. (:
