I recommend you check out these Finnish bands: Horna, Satanic Warmaster, Baptism, Barathrum, Archgoat, Charnel Winds, Verge, Blood Red Fog, Behexen, Clandestine Blaze, Enochian Crescent
do you have anything of Nirvana? i never was a huge Nirvana fan but ''Nevermind'' was a great album. And by the way i did not understand at 1:06:26 did you like Heretic or hated it beause of the instrumentals? i personally liked the album but the production was really i mean REALLY bad as you probably know ;-)
@MyKingdomCome666 I like Heretic but the little interludes piss me off, it breaks up the album too much. As For Nirvana, I do have some stuff in my collection. As you already know, my collection is large and goes further than just Metal - I have a lot of that kind of stuff as well.
@DeathHeretik Thank you for your kind words, the CD is still very much available and if you purchased it in the past week, all orders are posted at the weekend so you will have it real soon. Thanks for all the support man \m/
@metbrab I own Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son by Maiden, that's all I have left. I used to own Killers, No Prayer For The Dying and Piece Of Mind but sold them about 20 years ago and never bought them again although I do like 80's and early 90's Maiden. As for Judas Priest, I don't own anything as I hate them. My favourite traditional Heavy Metal is Ozzy and Dio, and that's about it - and of course classic Sabbath.
Hey Matt. I just also wanted to add. I saw Chthonic on the 6th of December with Warbringer and the main band Arch Enemy. Which was the Khaos Over Europe Tour 2011. They were an amazing band. I really fell in love with them so the day after. I went out to HMV and bought there new album. Takasago Army which was there new album. They are very great melodic band. My favrioute song is Takao. I will make a review on the album sometime soon. I will send it to you when I have made it.
@KingOfTheCorpses666 I fucking love Chthonic! Mirror Of Retribution was the soundtrack to mine and my wife's honeymoon in Greece, I played it for the whole week! I still need to check out the new album though but I will do soon. Looking forward to your review mate ;)
how you got into extreme metal is pretty much the same as my story, must be the age group, i had a slayer hell awaits back patch before i even heard the band because i loved the art work, at the time i was listening to glam like cinderella, tigertailz, motley crue, warrant etc i asked my parents to buy me slayer hell awaits, once i actually heard it i never looked back, out went the glam and thrash totally took over then that progressed into death/black metal.
If anyone still wants - Witchclan - Descend Into Darkness Tape I still have some copies left in my distro along with many other great titles along with the Witchclan Album CD.
@DarkshadeRecords Fucking hell mate you still have tapes left? Snap these up people - these are the last in existence. Support Darkness Shade please, a TRUE underground label.
@Nocturn3Ev1l I am pretty sure I have a spare one. I found 5 in my cupboard a couple of months ago and I mentioned it in a video so a few people bought them off me but if I have one then you can buy it. I am 95% sure that there is still one left, I will check and then send you a message. Cheeers!
Great collection dude, you seem to be a nice guy to have a beer and a good talking! Being an old school metal fan myself I totattly understand your desire for having everything on vinyl. Dou you look for new bands or just look for the classics? Cheers from brazil!!
@sergiozs12 Thanks for the comment man. I do buy new bands - if you watch some of my other videos you will see records by Death Breath, Entrails, Grave Ritual and loads more. I am old school through and through as you know though so the vast majority of the stuff I own is early 90's and earlier.
Some of my favorite black metal albums are In the Nightside Eclipse by Emperor, Burzum's Hvis Lyset Tar Oss and Mayhem's De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas. My favorite black metal album is proabably Obtained Enslavement's Witchcraft though... then second i would say is Mayhem's album which they played live when i saw them a few weeks ago, fucking sick show.
I just listened to Sultans Of Swing after your recommendation, HOLY SHIIIIT, I've been wanting to now the name of that song for about a year now. I remembered the melody, but not the name of the band hahahah. You just made my day.
Good Christian Death Metal bands: Discarnated and Crimson Thorn. They're fucking disgusting Death Metal bands, extremely brutal stuff. Songs like Gutted And Skinned (kind of odd for a Christian title).
@mkmoloch Cheers for the band names but I won't be checking any of these out - I really hate the Christian message and refuse to support any band who preach about God. Sorry if that seems close-minded but it's against everything that I believe in. Cheers though man.
congrats on 500 subs man keep it up love your videos one of the most knowledgable metalheads on youtube not to mention your incredible collection amazing man
@Hitchhikeroftheyear I don't know of any Doom band called Incantation - the only one I know of is the Death Metal band who released Onward To Golgotha which incidentally is a brilliant album that I used to own years ago.
Great collection! Your demo collection is by far the most complete I have seen. I don't collect demos, but it sure is tempting when seeing you excellent collection.
@Deejaymbass you not afraid for the fact that in a near future the k7 format it's completly unuseful...like the VHS for example? Thats why i don't collect them....How do you threat them against the hummidity?
@Nocturn3Ev1l What is a k7 format? Do you mean cassette tape? Most of my tapes are well over 20 years and play just as well as they did the first day I got them. My house is a good dry temperature and they never get damaged. I have a good quality cassette deck and my tapes will almost certainly out-live me, and there are LOADS of bands and labels who are still releasing tapes - Dark Descent, Skeleton Plague, Old Skull, and many more labels. Tapes are the true underground format. Posted your CD.
@Deejaymbass yes..i mean cassette tape..i know that the tapes are true underground...in times i was in a radio program and had received more tapes that cds...i still have some of them...but i was living in Azores...in a Island here in Portugal...and the climate was a shi*** for the tapes...some months without use and starts growing in them a kind of white fungus...i don't know...so i left this kind of material. but is always nice to watch such rare and big collection...
Wow, just finished this vid. I remember now you have showed the Pure Holocaust cd, I guess I forgot cause my main focus is vinyl. My no. 1 Black metal album is Battles In The North with Pure Holocaust as a close second.. Hunting the clear edition of Battles, but it's just impossible to find.
@metalvinylfreak Yeh well as you know, I am a vinyl man through and through but I bought a lot of those CDs after I sold half my vinyl in a bid to replace what I had lost. Most of what you see on CD I had on first press vinyl. I thought the CDs would satisfy me but they didn't and I will be seeking them all on vinyl and selling the CD's - this year I plan on getting stuff like Hordanes Land, Burzum debut, Emperor EP, Aske etc on first press vinyl - all of which I used to own, will cost loads...
@kimimaro9876 Yeh I used to correspond with Dani and Jon through 1992 and 1993 and then lost contact just before the debut album was released. Not heard about the logo story though, which logo are you talking about because they have had several different ones.

@kimimaro9876 I appreciate that but I imagine that those people have musicians who play live with them - I wouldn't want that because as I mentioned in the video, I prefer to work alone and as Witchclan used to be a 5-piece, I know all the hassles that go with having other people play in the band and I would always prefer to work alone.
@CornadaTV Indeed I do. I only have a couple of their albums copied onto CD for me by someone. I think they have a really great fusion of Black Metal and Grindcore with some other elements, really original stuff. I do aim to get some stuff on vinyl at some point.
I just wanted too thank you for all your video i love your collection there really good stuff in it and also thank you for your amazing cd misanthropist i bought it a month ago i just cant stop playing it so thanks again and keep on with your video and you band and keep \m/ on

Great video man, thanks alot for answering my questions :D Awesome with a long video too!
Really cool that you liked Agalloch and Fen btw :) As a starter tip, check out "Pale Folklore" and "Marrow Of The Spirit" by Agalloch and "The Malediction Fields" by Fen. Those are all masterpieces in my opinion and the best albums by each band! "The Mantle" by Agalloch is also amazing but a little "calmer" and less metal, still a great album though! :)
Nice video as always, sir. I like your record collection. I'm also vinyl, CD and tape collector, but my collection isn't so huge as is yours.
