This is a pretty good cover. It's tough 2 cover an R.E.M. song because Stipe's voice is so unique. Bush didn't try 2 sound exactly like R.E.M., they covered it while sounding like any other Bush song.

Songs are written with a meaning in mind, sure, but are also aritistically open to whatever meaning the audience wants to derive from it and viewed as art that is complex, not just thin and materialistic, so Bush may have taken it another way, but who's to say R.E.M. didn't enjoy their interperation, too, besides R.E.M.?

I remember watching the whole Woodstock 99 on cable.. It was really really cool, probably the last Rock music television event. Fantastic time, anyway I remember staying up till like 2am because this was Bush's first live performance since the Razorblade Suitcase album, Also, the first live performance for the new songs "chemicals". It was worth waiting for, till this day I still feel that this concert is powerful and meaningful as a comeback show.. Plus this cover is really well done! go BUSH
