  • BOYKA, BOYKA , BOYKA, BOYKA!!

  • Thegodsend@ Well I'd win cuz I got a 12 gauge in my gun cabinet in my room. Along with a few other guns I can't mention...

  • y was there no 20

  • Yawn!!!

  • he's left-legged?

  • scott sucks,boyka rules

  • @TheSUBGAMER Lol?

  • @Maniltheking no i really dont like scott, his face is irritating, but when he was boyka then he was cool

he should look like that in real life also, not like this nice guy shit look

  • @TheSUBGAMER shut up twat

  • @BRAKATDC chill fag

    peace

  • he do it like its so easy.. but trust me it isn't... I can do it (but I do Jeet Kune Do) and is hard to do it with it looks like this. I can do this because the way he do it is somehow uhm... "naturally".. like he is just landing a normal kick. I can do it but that's not that "beautiful"

  • yuri boyka...

  • Nice kick,Scott is amazing and i love his work...even if Jean claude ,due to his split, was a little bit more flexible.

  • IT looks so easy when he do it!

  • Do without the stepping motion

  • I use my heel to touch the bag and its work without any problem!

  • wow, i...i...i...i can do that :/

  • he makes it look so easy lolz

  • It's the same Van damme's famous kick in kickboxer and Bloodsport...

  • scott adkins and ray park are the cyril raffaelli british

  • @TheTaoofJKD

Quote from Chuck Liddell's official homepage (Bio Page) :- For two years, Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell reigned as the UFC light heavyweight champion. With an extensive background in kickboxing, he relies primarily on his background in Kempo and Koei-Kan karate.

I'm fully aware of Chuck's kempo (Not kenpo) background, anyone can see that from the tattoo on his left arm. I was trying to pick out a fighter that most people would recognize, Ernesto Hoost retired 4 years ago.

  • This kick reminds me of jean claude van damme. Scott had him as an idol so I'm not suprised he kicks like him...

  • The kick is called a 360 spinning kick

  • its not a kick you would use regularly or if you were standing toe to toe with someone, but if you had him stunned from another strike already then you could use it.

mostly though its just for show and movies.

  • what martial art teaches stuff like this? or is it just for films

  • well its really just like one of the fancy moves there show you in a few martial arts like kickboxing. you'lll never use it much but it looks impressive to people who cant do it

  • I have seen the demo team at my ITF Tae Kwon Do class do this kick. I believe its called a Jump spinning outside crescent kick

  • that kick was beautiful

  • he looks so different from in the movie Undisputed 2

  • they're making an undisputed 3 and its all about boyka/adkins!!!!!

  • looks like ye olde van damme special kick

  • @peterscoop van damme lol...

  • DAMN HE IS GOOD... ! ! !

  • i can do this , but not with my legg fully stretched, the guy is good , he performs it quite fast and breakes no sweat lol

  • its one way. he takes a small step to begin with which many dont.... i dont know why u see this as a problem in demonstrating the kick

  • The kick is far too easy to read so could not be pulled off for real unless fighting an idiot. It as taken far too much effort as is shown. The way it should be done is just by jumping up from your start stance with little or no give away. If he was to attempt that you could quite easily get around to his back as he leaves himself blind too long. I could go on all day but you get my drift. Cheers

  • zanzen, you seem like an accomplished keyboard warrior, dont worry too much about every other human being on the planet not having the same technique as you, besides I could have sworn he was throwing the kick for pictures and not in a fight!

  • I agree. Very few can perform it properlly.

  • mmhh.... ma chi dovrebbe beccare con quella mossa da danza classica?

  • wow i'm just beginning kickboxing but want to learn how to do that, seems like it would take forever though

  • practice a hook kick standing still, then move on to a spinning hook kick once uve mastered that just ad a litle jump into it

  • i thought kick boxing just had arm bands not belts but maybe thats muay thai

  • muay thai does really have flying kicks like that. Flying kness yeah, but not so much for fancy moves.

  • @Vikturus2k6 Dont you mean Muay Boran? Muay Boran is a branch of Muay Thai that has more flying techniques

  • theres no way jcvd had his tendons cut for flexibility he wouldnt be able to kick at all, the reason jcvd kicks the way he does because he does intense stretchin and has been for most of his life, you wanna be able to kick like that then stretch 3 times a day for as long as you can stand the pain 30 mins at least, every day train every day and 1 day itll happen if ya still young enough

  • you shouldnt have pain while stretching u dumbass

  • YOU WHAT? dont tell me pal! i stretch everyday and it hurts like fuck you obviously know fuck all about stretching!!! U DUMBASS!!! if u dont feel pain you dont gain! so your telling me yur stretching tendons and ligaments and you shouldnt feel pain? fuckin hell ive heard some shit in my time lad but this is hilarious! where do you train?

  • I train in the Netherlands I do ITF taekwon-do. But you really shouldn't feel pain. You should stop just before the pain kicks in. I can do splits myself so it works for me without pain ; )

  • i do itf tkd aswell i train in wales and everytime we stretch in class you can see the pain in everyones face, stretching always hurts me but i do push my limits when it comes to stretching

  • okay both you have points.

Chunkysupreme-you should push the limits but not when people are crying because the pain is unbearable. JCVD's Teacher was brutal in the way he trained his students, but yes his is a rather tyrant way you can develope the splits.

    BUT

JPITFTKD-you also have a point, stretching shouldn't hurt...much. When i stretch, i stretch until my legs cramp, thats how i know to go back a bit and hold it. So you're both correct.

Now stop this stupid banter about painful stretching

  • i can do this

i'm being serious i've bin doing kickboxing nearly 8 years and just got my black belt :)

  • it's so weird he's got the exact same trianing trousers as me lol :D he lives like a hour and ten minutes from me, well he did dnno if he still does

  • loving this kick

  • i wanna do that!

  • Horse shit, utter horse shit

  • pretty good,

  • not bad but far away from van damme

  • from fake wrestling?

  • Comment removed

  • Dont be an asshole. I got two names mixed up tho. sorry...

  • No problem, comment removed ;)

  • Yeah you right no one does spining kicks and such like van damme xd :D

  • Gary Daniels can

It's the non kicking leg that is raised higher when Van Damme kicks. Rumor has it that it's because he surgically cut the tendons there to improve dynamic flexibility while kicking.

Notice how Scott's non kicking leg isnt as high as you see JCVD does in his movies. this can be a conscious thing or just his inability to raise it as high, or what I mentioned

Watch the final fight in Fist of the North Star with Daniels. He raises it as high as JCVD

    Tony Jaa has more diversity

  • if the toe is pointing up ... striking with side of foot its a cresent kick .. if striking with heal ...hook kick

  • he´s flyin ^^

  • He makes it look so easy.

  • Nice.

  • it looks so damned good!!

  • The kick hes doing is called the helicopter kick.

  • The kick is actually known within the PKA as a jump spinning crescent kick. This was also the term used by Scott himself.

  • True. But whatever you want to call the kick... It kicks ass!

  • It kicks the face, not the ass :D

  • lol, very true.

  • Mole

  • @dmaguirepka that fits perfectly

  • @booty121212 i never heard of that...jump spinning kick-only

  • hes the next van damme

  • I would love to see Scott play Danny Rand/Iron Fist in the Iron Fist movie Marvel's been trying to make for a while.

  • he definatly has talent, and i met him. compared to most actors, he has a vvvvv small ego! I wz vvvvvvv surprised.

  • typ jest nie do wyjebania....lepiej napierdalającego sie kolesia jeszcze nie widziałem . pozdro

  • Van Damme does it best

  • God!He makes it look so easy.

  • laugh it that went wrong

  • jesus

  • Hes getting better at those kicks bless him, You taught him well Dan.

  • How would you have done it better?

  • check out this vid "Kimocharyu Kicks too kill" in that one I do 360 hook kick, that I personelly thinks is better than the one Scott is showing here. Well jugde for youreself.

  • Yup, I see what you're saying there :-) Very good kicks sir - frankly, if I had 1/10th of Scott's or your ability, I'd be happy :-)

  • I watched your vid, you have some skills... But compared to Scott youlook awkward, stuttery and nowhere near as fluid. You do a great spinning kick and land on one leg but aesthetically you are not a patch on Scott. I guess thats why he's a martial arts film star and you are just on 'youtube' eh? Keep practicing.

  • that was directed to "furyofthetiger"

  • You are completely right, Scott is way better than me in so many levels, but I don't think I am not fluid. look at my other vid "Kimocharyu: kicks too kill part two" and give me some more critic so I can get better. See my videos as work in progress, in 5-10 years maybe I am as good as him. I will keep praticing. My controversiel comment about his kick, was a statement I was trying to make. Had he not been movie star, ppl would not have taken notice.

  • The fact he is a movie star is why people are taking notice. As for criticising the kick? he is doing it soully for a photo so it isn't as fast as it could be. I'll check out your other vid FOT.

  • HK has Donnie Yen, Britain has Scott Adkins, America has Chuck Norris

  • first two are trixters

  • the kick's brilliant...but i have a small problem..what happens if you make contact with something hard? example a punching bag. Would you fall over since you can't actually finish the rotation?(no offence to anyone)

  • Fair Comment, with no physical connection to the ground this could be true of all jumping or jump spinning kicks. I bet it would still hurt though.

  • @dmaguirepka from experience, if u have enough momentum yes you can do great damage (against an opponent), when it comes to bags, it depends on where u make the contact and again momentum, as well as the weight and stability of the bag. The kick was designed to be used on other people heads though, no the most solid thing in the world.

  • @chanaka20002000

In that case, you absorb the strength of rotation, which will result in a sudden mid-air stop. Takes some practice to master, but not that hard...

  • @chanaka20002000 you wouldnt use that kick on a bag. the bag is like the Wooden Dummy for Kung fu. you wouldnt "Dragon Kick" a wooden dummy. so spin kicks on a bag wouldnt be to productive to what you are trying to achieve.

  • kickboxings for sport. it was invented for sport and sport only. in my opinion kickboxing has not got enough realistic tools to fight.

  • What a strange comment...ever heard of Chuck Liddel?

  • @dmaguirepka haha, priceless! :D

  • @dmaguirepka again...a great athlete, but even UFC is still a sport

  • @SOCOMSoldier01 The UFC isn't a sport its an organisation. MMA is a sport

  • @dmaguirepka Well have you because you spelt his name wrong?

  • brother,

itz more practical and brutal than other ring sport (except MMA)

  • @nicholashardwick so, if u label a punch as a kickboxing punch, it magically looses its ability to knock someone out if ur not in the ring? whereass if u call it a JKD punch, or a krav maga punch, or wtv, then it doesnt?

any style that teaches punches and kicks can be used to deliver and defend against punches and kicks.

same goes for throws. judo and bjj werent developed for war, they were made as sports. being thrown on ur face will still hurt, as will having ur arm broken. fail comment :3

  • @veshkeat Sorry mate need to correct you, judo, jiu jitsu and karate came from the bushido or way of the Samurai so they were born on the battlefield and then split into different artsover the years, and then turned into sport in reacent years.

  • @danvanbelk1 karate came from okinawan pesants, not japanese soldiers or samurai.

I know that bjj came from judo, and judo from jiujutsu, but both of them were still designed for sports. my point was exactly that, though. They were made fro sports, but their history is still from jujutsu, so even though its designed for the mat, a broken arm is still a broken arm

  • @nicholashardwick Yeah he is fight go look at K1 and UFC. Ever of Rashad Evans or Georges St. Pierre

  • @nicholashardwick I meant right

  • i would love to see him in the UFC

  • always a PRO!

  • benghiul, you're just.. ignorant, retarded w/e

  • i guess you're just jelous!!!And i guess YOU are not familiar with STUPIDITY!!!are you from london?cut the crap with explaining your comments, cause,I don't give a rat's ass about them.cheers, mate!

  • Hi Benghiul; I assume you are not familiar with Sarcasm (tm), or Humour (tm), both of which can be noted by adding an emoticon, i.e. the wink at the end of my comment. I take offence to you calling me a retard; I've trained with Scott at one of the PKA's seminars and am well aware that if he wants to kick you, he will - and you'll fall over ;-) (see, that was one of those "emoticons"). Adam, incidentally, is my instructor at the local PKA club and quite handy (and acrobatic) himself.

  • he didn't miss Adam, you retard ,it was only a demonstration!can you imagine Adam laying on the floor if Scott would have actually kicked the hell out of him?hahaha!!!

  • I can't believe he missed Adam twice! ;-)

  • impecabile!!!!!!!as always!!!!!nice done,scott!!!!love you!!!!!
