Does the word Chaldean have any thing to do with the word Khaldoun which means Magi? the Magi (or Khaldoun) were Zoroastrian priests in the old Persian kingdom before the advent of Christianity. The name Chaldean was initially used by the east Syriac speaking people from Persia. Is this where the name Chaldean originated from?
