@TheBobjones999999 It all depends on what your computer specifications are - refer to the Microsoft Internet Explorer website for IE8 requirements. You might find that if your Operating System is fine, it might be something to do with your hardware (Like you might not have enough RAM)
Please can someone respond to me what i asked before? i am in a rush because my game requires IE8 my operating system is windows 7 home premium and it is 64-bit
@JosephTV2011 Windows 7 should already have it installed. You can now get the Release Candidate of IE9 if you go to the Microsoft website of your check Windows Update.
@mariomusic344 Open Programmes and Features from your Control Panel. On the left there should be a section about Updates. In that, locate Internet Explorer 9 and if you uninstall that it should revert back to IE8. Good luck and reply if your having trouble
@airplanegod Personally I have never had this happen to me, but if you have somehow deleted IE8, I have one option. Have you tried going to your Control Panel, Clicking "Programs and Features", then "Turn Windows Features on and off". From there locate Internet Explorer 8, click it and all should be back to normal.
@airplanegod Also make sure you haven't actually deleted it by going into any Windows Explorer window and typing a Web Address in the Address Bar at the top (If this isn't there, right click on any bit of the task-bar at the top and click Address Bar from the drop down menu). After hitting Enter on your keyboard, your computer should open up a webpage from that, and it is just the case of making shortcuts to those programmes. Contact me if you have any queries
