Has nothing to do with textmod. Its a result of old vid card/drivers. Ive been in Gw now since release and when they first introduced factions they upgraded their graphics and my old card couldnt handle it either and did the same thing. LONG b4 anyone was every using text mod here.

You know that the first number counts the platinum, which can increase to 100 (here its 19 if i see right), and the second number counts the gold (what is about 109 i'd say).

And 1000 Gold are equal to one platinum.

Same with the 3rd. character.

Bysides, there are NO private servers of Guild Wars. Everybody is connecting to the same.

guys its not Texmod. When I used to have really shitty onboard 16-bit video card, all armor in my game was shiny like this. its just a really bad video card.

Ohhh Thats not a glitch, it happens to me every time i swich armor, until i rezone or downsize and resize the game, Its beacuse your video card beacause once i got a new one it fixed the problem for me...not realy a problem hehe. and no one else can see this besides the person playing :0 hehe thats why its your video card not the game.

Not really a glitch, and a vid card can't always help that. I just shrink down the screen and bring it back up, everything goes back to normal. But if your a Male Ele, the shine, baldness, etc., it occurs quite often when just zoning to places.

Thats all cool and everything but on a seriouse not you need 2 check the temperatures on your GFX card

This happens to me but i already diagnosed the problem if its temperature your heading for Reguler Artifacting and Crashing and ultimatly your gonna need a New GFX card + its important 2 note the ambient heat off the GFX card could be damageing everything around it

Lolz...there are 2 or 3 possible causes

1-When you load (it happens to me)

2-Ur graphics card

3-Maybe your game files have gone wrong

theres many factors to why your armor is doin that, 1st, you got to much stuff running in the background, 2nd, you probly got crappy video card, close some stuff down, update your vid card and it should stop

I can bet you it's either your graphics card (you and your friend's card probably don't meet the requirements) or your CPU. The FPS was so slow I wouldn't be surprised if it was both.

the slow FPS is contributed by hypercam and the fact that its setting at the time did not compliment my computer.

thats not a glitch.. a friend of mine told me about that, so i tried it.. it happens when you put a video card in your PC that isn't the "bare" minimum GW needs to function.. it makes everything look funky.. the giveaway is it only happens when you put a load on your graphics card, running around, switching out pieces of armor etc.

yea..umm, what type of video card did you get, and did it come with a cd.

most of the time when purcashing a new video card one must download the updated driver from its companies website regardles if there is a cd. but if there is a cd, it should say all the info you need on it.

actually its the combination of two or more components that contribute to the visual graphics of certain programe languages. in a way, yes it is the videocard, but its not the videocard exclusivly, and possibly its not the root of the problem. a friends card works perfectly on his computer, but when it is installed into mine, it works the same way as the one you see in the video.
