I need some help guys, I just replaced the stock Power tube with a JCS red hot tube. All the internals fell out and when I tried to put them back together, the spring, o-ring and washer are giving me loads of trouble. Also, the tombstone bolt will NOT go in now. Please help..
has your stabilizer and LP kit been worth the money? im thinking of getting one to possibly help increase efficiency, will it do that? and will it do it well?
It was worth the money when I got it, as I was using the flatline. Frankly, the LPK isn't worth much unless you're using the flatline. The lower pressure makes the flatline less picky.
Oh yes. Without that, your paint will roll out the barrel if the paint is small and/or the bore is large. You can get around it by having an excellent paint-to-bore match, but that's it.
I do not have a video on this one. Try going to the Special Ops Paintball forums, and do a search for Polishing Internals, by "Monitor". He wrote a fantastic thread on this topic.
It is recommended you remove all the air sources between game days. One day or week probably isn't too bad, but a few weeks in a row is not a good idea.
Personally, ditch the QEV, and go with the QEPH - Quick Exhaust Piston Housing. Similar to what's coming on the X7 cyclones. Or, just buy the X7 cyclone piston housing.
i'm having problems with my e-grip... it keeps sticking in every mode except the 1st (semi auto)... i'll put it in the second (3 shot burst) and it'll stick and keep firing as if it's in full auto..... then i'll have to pull the trigger once or twice in order for it to stop...... any help would be nice.......?
ps it only sticks with the co2 in there but if it's just the trigger firing diferent modes it fires fine help please.....
hey thanks for this video, before seeing this i used to take the WHOLE gun apart JUST to get to the bolt assembly..i had no clue all u had to do was cock it back and remove it from the rear
I was clean my stock tippmann and i just took off the trigger assembly.. and then the tombstone thing and a silvering came out... do you know what it is because i cant figure out how to put it back...
i havnt took my gun apart sense i bought it....its a tippmann a5 with response trigger and flatline. ive taken the flatline off to clean it but never aligned the notches like ur other vid..i might want to do that cus ever sense i put that stock on it, its been shoot wayyyy wayyyyyy to the right.
A lot of times, it's because you begin to tilt the marker to the right. With the backspin you place on the ball with the flatline, that will make the ball curve even more in that direction.
I just wanna add for other users, DON'T TAKE YOUR GUN APART IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING! Alot of these parts he is showing you are NEEDS for your gun, if you loose them, your gun will not work! Some shoot out when you play with them and will fly acrossed the room!
Good thing to note, Sniper. Guys, if you are following this video (preferably the redux version I have hosted on this account), PLEASE do it at home for the first several times. Get comfortable with your equipment before even attempting to try it at the field.
The LPK does not increase shots per tank, unlike some would have you believe. The LPK is about consistency, and helps make the marker more tolerant to cheaper paint.
great video could u make 1 with the 98 because i have no clue how to take it apart without breaking it could u also tell me how to take the grip apart without the springs flying out of it
very nice video, clear precise instructions which is always good to see, next time just place the mic at the side of your mouth rather than infront, to get rid of the pppffft. other than that, top marks

does the low pressure kit just use less co2/HPA? are there any performance increases/decreases?
jayfulf 2 years ago
What barrel what you recommend for me? I have the stock non-vented one
maxvideo300 2 years ago
@maxvideo300 Lapco 14 inch assault barrel best one for the A5 by far

soooooo, do you not have the flatline any more? which barrel are you using then? and if you dont want the LPK anymore im always open to donations! ;)
oncenothing77 3 years ago
I don't use the flatline, but I do still have it. I use the 8" Lapco Bigshot, nowadays. As for the LPK, I sold it last year.

@JackRockBLC you know the thing you pull back to cock the gun? mine broke like the thing broke off how i do i fix that

what dose a low presure kit do ?
555mat666 4 years ago
Ouch, That valve isn't supposed to go in the water..
paintballingguy 4 years ago
There's no reason why not. It's aluminum,so it won't rust as long as you take it out fairly soon.
JackRockBLC 4 years ago
Yeah real soon and and don't forget to dry and oil it well.. I would make sure there's no water left in it after. not even moisture.
BTW it's not all aluminum, the valve has some small metal parts in it, one a spring, which they can't make out of aluminum..
paintballingguy 4 years ago
You do realize that it would have been more helpful if it was a stock A-5? Not your uber gun.
If someone already has all those mods, they're going to know what to do. If they just got the gun, they don't. And certinely don't have the mods.
Fhajad 4 years ago
never would have thought of that :|
When somebody sends me the stock parts, as well as a new camera, I'd be happy to refilm this (again).

does the low pressure kit kind of like the qev?
urestupid1992 4 years ago
No. The QEV releases backpressure at the Cyclone pison. The LPK allows the marker to run at lower pressures.
JackRockBLC 4 years ago
o, ok whitch one would you choose? im thinking qev because I have hpa for my a5
urestupid1992 4 years ago
Personally, ditch the QEV, and go with the QEPH - Quick Exhaust Piston Housing. Similar to what's coming on the X7 cyclones. Or, just buy the X7 cyclone piston housing.

Absolutely.

That would be the washer to your valve. That means there's an o-ring in there somewhere, and not in the correct place.
Perhaps the subject of my new video, A5OG's mantra: "Washer first, then o-ring".

Unfortunately, only a Rear Velocity Adjuster (RVA) is about all. That, and maybe the Howitzer front bolt.
