Alright....it's barré chord OR bar chord. Though barré is the correct term and is how most guitarist use it. Bar chord is more so a reference to barré chords. Start using barré and get used to it.

This really isn't a very good lesson.

It claims playing a bar chord is all about strength. It's really not.. it's about leverage. I've seen 12 year olds ripping up bar chords like it nothing.

Strength is more in means of "finger" strength. You could be the strongest man in the world, but if you are a beginner guitarist your fingers will hurt, alot.

When you build up finger strength, you will rip just about every time of chord.

Leverage... don't really know what that means lol. But your stance and positioning is key to being successful at first, then you find your own style.
