I went on the "finding Nemo ride" first time 2 years ago since the last time in 25 years(1984,when I was a 11 year old kid).I was thinking ,"what a big change",I last remember towards the end of that ride back long ago,there was a giant squid attacking a submarine.

@BroadwayQueen7 I kinda remember the monster &mermaids - younger siblings taking seats closer to windows made for difficult viewing. There also used to be floor viewing, since the ride was more about exploring the deep rather than driving a movie story. Speakers were quieter and the narrative was a little dry :\ (not even Aussie accent) ...at least to a younger kid.

The video doesnt do justice . It actually isnt that bad .a thousand times better than its predecessor 20,000 leagues under the sea yuck yeah Disney did a pretty good job in replacing the subs.

its actually the Same sub they've used but this sub runs by Electric instead of Diesel, they took out the diesel engine and replace it with electric motors on all the subs which makes more space for two more occupent and its easier to operate.

I have not been to Disneyland in about 15 years and am planning a trip. Have they changed the Pirates of the Carribbean, It's a small World, or the Haunted House rides? The cool thing is being able to bring your kids to Disneyland and seeing things the same way as you saw them as a child.

Those rides are essentially unchanged. They added a johnny depp robot to the pirates ride. Small world just had a major renovation, but i dont imagine it's that different. haunted house has had a few verrry minor changes.

Thank you very much for the info. I used to live in Westminster and would go to Disneyland all the time as a kid. This time I will be staying at a hotel. I went online and the price to stay at the Disneyland hotel and tickets for 2 days was like $1500. I will probably stay in a nearby motel for about $70 a night. Tickets will cost about $450 for 3 people for 2 days. I miss the good old days of riding my bike to Disneyland and paying $20 to get in. =)
