I have an anouncement for those who want to play c&c generals mods For those like me that doesnt have generals c&c original anymore and want to play mods, you can play mods with pirat generals that you can download from internet, the only thing that you guy will need is an original CDKEY instal a pirat generals with the CDKEY of a original generals, it work, i used the Generals CDKEY from my First Decade and it worke, i got able to update the game to 1.04 and instal mods.Good Luck to all of you

westwood is only taken over by EA. However many digital artists from westwood are gone now, the ones responsible for red alert 2.

If EA was westwood, I could expect way more of the game then all these graphics of EA.

Different is, westwood games that I still play, somehow are better in my opinion even though with the lack of pixels in graphics.

red alert 3, by EA, is a giant failure compared to red alert 2 if they had the same resources.

EA make RA3 wrong, westwood, was always modifing the red alert storyline, but EA just repeat RA1, combined with yuri's revenge(they replased yuri's army by the empire), and combined with part of RA2. They screw up with my favorite side the soviets(the soviets became a lot of stupid soliders ans weapons with a elusive firepower, dont forgetting of the lack of tecnology), now my favorite is the empire.

The C&C series is the EA Sports line of the strategy gaming world, so it makes sense for EA to have the license, the series stopped being relevant after the first Red Alert.

Never played Red Alert 1 to be honest (I was only 4 years old when it came out) but I think Red Alert 2 is my favourite RTS of all time (out of the ones I have played) I've also played C&C 3 (which sucked) and Tiberian Sun (which was a bit difficult and tedious, but a good game none the less)

You know what, I'm gonna go look for Tiberian Sun and see if it'll work on my new computer. I tried Red Alert 2, doesn't work 'cause I'm on vista :(

But all those movie themes don't fit to the world of Red Alert, and they surely don't keep up with the original Red Alert style.
