Hi man, amazing art, just one question coz i saw u work with mac...i work on an i mac often but the screen really isnt good for illustrations, the final piece changes a lot depends on the monitor on wich you see it...i am having hard time trying to find a good calibration also to match with pc monitors expecially about contrast more than colors...can you give me some tips?
@sephdesign Honestly I have found that Mac monitors are far better than PC monitors. I have been working on different PCs and different Macs for years, and Macs usually tend to win out. Monitor calibration is something you are always going to have problems with because every computer is different...it is just something you have to live with as a digital artist. You can try buying a calibration puck to try and match colors/contrast more accurately.
Great video, it actually gave me about ideas how to improve my own work.
For example, it was from watching one of your vids I realized that using the color picker tool was a good idea. Not only does it save time, it helps me keep the tones more consistent. So thanks for that.
By the way, I think your Nibru is one of the best in that entire thread. It was only trough your video that I discovered it, and thus was able to enjoy it and participate. I'm glad I subscribed ;)
yeah i agree, there are a lot of things that could use more definition. i was trying to finish this painting as quickly as possible so some areas were left a little loose. i was mainly concerned with how it looked zoomed out, so leaving the mouth a little undefined was fine with me.
Great video. Can you do a real time of the how you transition from the line drawing? That part happens very quickly and I'd be interested in your comments on that.
thanks! i was thinking about it but during the first part of my painting i didnt realize that i forgot to change the video settings so it was recording at 4fps, so the video is a little choppy. ill see what i can do.
realtime is awesome! the only way to realy see whats going on ... "hate" those timelaps stuff you actually get to know nothing. love your art daarken, mb c u on CA workshop in berlin?
thanks! im going to try and do more real-time videos in the future. unfortunately i dont have any plans to attend the berlin workshop :( i wish i could!

@idontknow7240 Personally I prefer Photoshop. Photoshop tends to be the industry standard, but it all depends on the artist and their company.
