One of those masterpieces from the 80´s paying tribute to the 50´s. There was some kind of obession for that decade in many of the stuff produced during the 80´s. I mean what do you think the generation that was succeeded by the rock n roll generation must have thought? But yes to a certain degree each generation is right in thinking that. Without a doubt, kids nowadays are growing up in a horribly superficial & materialistic world with the music to match. Personally don't feel this is a very good 80's song though.
