  • I used to collect pogs, then I found out about porn. My pogging is completely gone now

  • I find the concept of "rationally" picking a hobby weird. How does that work, do you sit down and htink "i need a new hobby, lets search google or youtube for stuff other people do and enjoy"? A hobby in my experience is like first love, you think of nothing bad and BOOM you run into something so fascinating you instantly want to devote the rest of your life to it. The way you seem to have picked cigars its no surprise to me it didnt work out.

  • just smoke weed man

  • I agree with your sentiments --I've tried several hobbies & the anticipation far outweighed the enjoyment oft he doing --- coin collecting --- motorcycle riding ---- stamps for a while ----- even sex but it turns out the wife does not share the sentiment , & it works better with company .So Now I'll try the divorce Hobby see how that little nugget treats me .

I still got my knife collection.

    Nice eh .

The best woman is the one thats far away --- bad hobby --bad hobby Cigars need a good brandy

  • Saw the comment with the "send me good expensive stuff Ill try it again" response from you. Does that offer still stand? I have a semi-large collection and can send you some good, top-shelf smokes if you want to try it still. Just let me know!

  • Send me some cigar!

  • have you ever seen the movie goonies?

  • ok im gona be 20 in april and i smoke but im thinking of geting into cigars aswell, my dad smokes them from time to time and i love the smell, iv smoked acouple in the past and anyone saying its not a hobby, well its not the most rewarding but its relaxing and is also very social

  • nice video on the schooling of hobbies

  • maybe it tastes like shit because your lighing it with a zippo

  • Better smoke one good expensive cigar once a week, than a cheap cigar once a day. This is my rule for cigar smoking.I used to smoke cheap cigars daily, then i started trying more expensive cigars and i just can't go back to cheap stuff.Oh,and try storing them without the wrapper.

  • try the romeo y julieta edicion limitada. flavorful, mild-medium bodied smoke and is my favorite so far. famous-smoke has a phenomenal deal on them that runs until the end of march. I've just recently gotten into cigar smoking and have about 50 so far ranging from rocky patel 1990s to gurkha black dragons. Let your cigars sit a while in the humidor and then come back to them...you may find one you really like.

  • haha look at you now :D enjoying the fine experience of good cigars

  • I have had the same problem. I have been spending a lot of time in Cuba the last 5 or 6 yrs and started bringing home cigars and sticking them in the humidor. I ended up giving more away than I smoked and ended up with a bunch going moldy. Money that could have been better spent on some good steel.

  • try a rocky patel edge sampler they are great ! the maduro is the best but they were all good

  • From a serious cigar connoisseur (who's not a prick about it) to other commenters: Price or brand-names does not equal quality. Much like the grapes that go into wine, tobacco is grown in different regions and each region has good years and bad years and every brand has many types of cigars - not all good, not to mention each is hand-rolled meaning there is always variations. Some of the best cigars are anywhere from $5-$12, sometimes more, sometimes less. Find what you like and torch it.

  • It really isn't for everyone. I can't STAND Scotch Whiskey, Tastes like Automotive cleaning solvent to me. I don't care how old or how much it costs, it sucks. I must agree, there is a HUGE difference between a good cigar and a cheap cigar. I love a good cigar, can't stand a cheap one. I don't care for probably 90% of the cigars on the market today, and I've smoked a ton of cigars.

  • the first cigar i smoked was a cohiba toro, got a major case of tongue bite because i had no clue wtf i was doing lol. still got the tube because i paid so much for it haha.

  • Let me take those of of your hand for you

  • Anyways, the good part is that you found that is not something for you. So, send me that humidor and throw away your garbage that you put inside, I can find easily Cohibas, Romeo y Julieta, Punch, Montecristos in Mexico City with no isues. Thanks a lot for share. Think what you really like to do, be honest with yourself...

  • What a video! "I started this "hobby" but I coudln't get along with it" hahaha, don't get angry man but that's funny and at the same time is pathetic, you just don't start to do things so artificially, if you like something you just do it because you want to do it from the inside, not because you want to start a hobby... damn!

  • can you keep bud in the box? haha pokemon pogs were da shit

  • i was laughing

  • I suggest trying some better cigars. I know you cant get Cubans easily in the states, but if you can get down to Miami you never know your luck... Anyway try something from the Dominican Republic or Nicuragua maybe... A proper stick is a whole other flavour to the cheapy factory ones...

  • I remember the POGS and the Slammers when I was like 3.... but yeah I agree with you on those cigars I used to love smoking but I would get bored smoking a cigar and I would be trying really hard to finish it as quick as possible... Same with a pipe.... but yeah I've got hobbies I lost interest in like longboarding and playing guitar now its all guns and knives hunting and fishing... but I think I will hang on to my guitar and stuff just in case

  • I still have my POGS and Slammers, lmao. How old are you?

  • I'm no fancy pants, I like Acid Kuba Kuba.

  • Did you buy the Humidor and Cigar set separate or was this a package deal? I see they have a Desktop set that is 5 Cigars for around $35 shipped.

  • Seriously lol why would you buy all those cigars and then figure out you dont like smoking them? thats just funny how you'd try to start smoking as a hobby. wtf is wrong with you?

  • @robb817 lmfao

  • try smoking medwakh

  • lol i remember the pogs

  • try smoking hookah u can fill it with flavoured tabacco like apple and stuff

  • For everyone that is saying that the cellophane HAS to come off, you are wrong. It doesn't have to come off but it's all about personal preference. Also, you have to know at that point which to keep close to each other and which not to. You have to know that a Connecticut wrapper can't sit right next to a maduro because the oils and flavors will meld and that takes away from the cigar's flavors. Cigar smoking isn't for everybody, so I don't know why you are all getting offended. No big deal

  • @FadedCigarFiend yay for lung cancer!

  • Comment removed

  • I love my hobbies, I collect zippos, coins and bills from around the world and rocks and precious stones! ^.^

  • I STILL HAVE POGS!!!! hahahaha

  • I REALLY enjoy this fine hobby! Thanks for this video!

  • why don't you cut the cigars open with a razor, take out all of the tobacco, purchase some cannabis from your local rasta, grind said cannabis, fill said cigar with said cannabis, roll that shit up and jerk off to day time television??????

  • One of my hobbies that didn't work out? Ham Radio.

  • @MisterBorg9 i started in ham radio about 8 months ago and i thought it would be cool...and to be honest it is. i have the equipment to talk around the world. but since i don't have the second class licence only the first i cannot use it to its full potential... im not saying it was a mistake but being just a student...i find it hard to mingle it with my college studies......it is a great hobby to those that love it but me....i would say im a casual user at best....

  • Start out with something very mild, something flavored if you are into that. A great cigar line for infused flavor is Acid brand. They go from very mild to robust. "Blondie" are one of my favorite infused cigars from them. They take about 30 minutes to smoke. A nice Romeo y Julieta Mild, has to be a nice one, has good flavor for a beginner. Like I said, go with something mild. Medium or Robust tend to have a "Burn" to it. Just like a finely aged liquor.

  • cigar are hobby because there more to it than just smoking there different sizes, flavors, ways to light, cigarettes are for those who just want nicotine

  • Smoke weed. Its as bad for you as alcohol, and makes for a great hobby as there is so much involved. Strains, pipes, rolling papers, bongs. You also benefit from the soothing and pleasant effects of cannabis!

  • Bahaha Slammers! I remember EVERYONE had pogs

  • That Perdomo Lot 23 cigar in the middle of your humidor is one of my favorites. For a fairly cheap stick, it is a really nice smoke. You should give that one a try as long as you have kept up the humidity over the past year or so. I remember when I first tried cigars, I wasn't that into it, and it took some time to have it grow on me. Now I really enjoy it and it has become a hobby of mine.

  • You're smoking cheap shit.

  • @Khaneistheking send me good expensive stuff Ill try it again

  • @cutlerylover lol didnt mean to be rude, but if you ever happen by a cigar shop try out a rocky patel or romeo y julieta

  • @cutlerylover Actually, it does take awhile to find the cigar blends that you enjoy, like and actually look forward to smoking. It also takes awhile to develop a tolerance to stronger cigars. Then again, like you said, smoking cigars might not be your thing.

I found I had to purchase alot of 5 packs and singles until I found the ones that tripped my trigger but when I did, wow. Everyone's palate is different so what one person like won't necessarily be what you like.

  • @cutlerylover It looks like you had a good variety of smokes and a cigar doesn't have to be super pricey to be a good smoke. I've found many bargain cigars that I actually like better than those that are suppose to be super premiums.

You mentioned thinking about getting into pipe smoking and I too recently took pipe smoking. I have found that I have a fondness for Latikia blends. A few of my favorites are Frog Morton, Larry's Blend and Bill Bailey's Balkan Blend.

    Cheers!

  • @cutlerylover I think everyone has already said these are not what the cigar community would really consider "fine". It'd be like starting a knife collection with dollar store knives. There's nothing wrong with it, but you won't get the full experience and quality. Most of those cigars are factory manufactured. If you want a pleasant cigar then buy hand-rolled. My favorite is 'La Gloria Cubana' (around $10 per cigar)... Perhaps I may send you some to try.

  • @CoalKeepsTheLighsOn been enjoying a pipe with nice tobacco I have yet to have a good cigar

  • @CoalKeepsTheLighsOn are olivios good?

  • throw away those "cheap shit" cigars as Khaneistheking wrote buy some nice cigar samples (there are lots) season your humidor close your humidor let it seasoning for 3 days unwrap the cigar that you bought (if they're wrapped) put the nice cigar samples into the humidor take one, two or three of them, light it in a proper manner smoke it in a proper way then came back and tell us the story again you may still dont like it, but at least you will have done the right thing and tried some good stuff
  • everyone who is too sheltered to have ever tried smoking anything, smoking big politician-churchill size cigars is WORK. It's hard to do in one sitting. So yeah, I'd say cigar smoking is a hobby.

  • @ninjaspion anything you do to enjoy yourself is a hobby, people who cant stop smoking makes it an addiction but to enjoy good quality tobacco once in a blue moon makes it a hobby

  • @ninjaspion smoking cigars is for sure a hobby. A minority of people would be addicted to cigars for the mere fact that they can take an hour or more to smoke them, and who has the time to do that every day?

  • @ninjaspion Smoking is not a hobby but cigars and pipes can be.

  • @ninjaspion Cigars isn't really smoking. It is meant for the taste. Unlike Cigarettes.

  • Try something that's not a cheep piece of crap. You might like it a little better then. I would recommend a Rocky Patel American Market Selection Robusto.

  • It's amazing how many view's this video has...

You should consider more Cigar vids Jeff ;)

  • I have the same humidor spent about the same came with a bunch more stuff and its been treating me and my cigars just great. You probly should have tried actually smoking a cigar before you went out and bought a humidor and $50 worth of cheap cigars

  • smoke green amazing hobby and weed actually relaxes you and tastes great..

  • I know it was already said but honestly, the sampler packs are (from my experience) are a hit or miss thing. It's like when you get a chocolate sampler. Some you will like, some you will spit out and hate. If you want fine cigars, go to a local smoke shop and talk to some cigar aficionados. They will lead you to the right way. The internet is not a good place to shop for a beginner. You want to be able to examine the stick and smell it. If done the right way, it's a fun hobby. Just my two cents.

  • just tack one or tow pufs and put it out

  • Im confused how can nicotine relax you if you dont inhale them?

  • @OverTheTop94 The nicotine is absorbed through your mouth

  • @XxStonedKillerxX so you can get addicted to cigars?

  • @XxStonedKillerxX theres no nicotine in cigars dipshit..just small cheap ones like black & Milds

  • @mikolai1 Im just going to shake my head.

  • @mikolai1 I guess there's nothing wrong with being wrong. But calling someone a dipshit when you're the one that's wrong is just....well, wrong.

  • you may not enjoy actually inhaling smoke, but if your interested, i would try hookah, its kind of expensive when you start out, but after the initial blow, its pretty cheap.

one bowl of flavoured tobacco/tea leaves can last about 45 minutes with a full flavour =)

message me if you are interested and i will respond with a few great youtube channels and a few forums/websites!

  • try out the waterpipe! :)

  • why didnt you take them out of the wrapper so that there would be a point to having a humidor

  • @RickyRozzay1 all cigar wrappers are porous and dont effect humidity, its prefference in or out of the wrapper...

  • @RickyRozzay1 You got told.

  • @RickyRozzay1 As Cuttlerylover said, the cellophane wrappers are very porous and I would add that is is advantageous to leave the cellophane on to protect the delicate outside wrapper of the cigar itself. Go into any good cigar shop and you will see cigars that have been on the shelf for a few years still in their wrappers.

  • i like collecting comic books, i want to move into collecting gold. that will NOT be easy :/

  • i have pogs

    z

  • what part of pa do u live

  • Jeff already did smoke the ganja

  • I haven't heard anyone mention Pogs in a while. I think I still have all of mine somewhere packed away.

  • Buy some nice Cubans... those are real cigars

  • @GNaranjoN Cubans are not better than any other fine cigar. What make's them so talked about is the American trade sanctions against Cuban products.

  • Also with all those nice cigars your already set all you need is some weed. Gut those cigars and fill em with some OG Kush!!

  • When in doubt smoke a blunt. No but seriously if you want a hobby smoke some weed.

  • you should never feel that you have to smoke the entire cigar if you have had enough at half way then it is ok to stop. and it is a little known secret about cigars that some of the best flavored smokes are of smaller ring gauge . The thinner cigars have a higher percentage of the best tobacco which is used as wrapper and binder as composed to the cheaper fillers

  • U should take up smoking weed

  • @insignia2543 Fuck off if your gonna say that

  • @insignia2543 he said in one of his videos he used to be a pothead

  • U need to take the cigars out the wrapper so they can actually soak up the humidity

  • @laresco409 wrong like cutlerylover said the wrappers that cigars come in are porous they don't effect humidity

  • another thing that may be causing problems is your humidity is low. it looked like 60%? it should be at 65-70%.

  • pogs where great lol and u need a good old cigar with a fine malt brandy seat back and relaxe

  • You are a lonely man who inherited money and doesn't have a job.

  • oh man i used to have LOADS of pogs and slammers too but by the time i had a good sized collection nobody was into pogs anymore

  • i like cigars but i would not buy many at a time. as you said, a few times a year is enough for me

  • ur not ment to draw back cigar smoke????? shit.....

  • You don't have to smoke the whole thing at once

  • A hobby is builting a huge train set or making model airplanes. Smoking cigars is an indulgence.

  • @BaronVonGodzilla

That's a matter of opinion. If you are someone who literally just grabs the odd one from a store and just smokes it, then yes I can see how you can say it is an indulgence. But for many people it is MUCH more than that. It is purchasing several different types (often in boxes of 25's), from different years, seeing how the flavours and construction compare. There is so much more to cigars than people think and you can only really get a proper idea if you take it up properly :)

  • Gotta love England, no problem with getting Cubans

  • @MINIBUMF yeah but no guns..... (or very restricted)

  • two words. smoke pot.

  • what would be a good first cigar?

  • @aaronzack14 a black and mild lol =p

  • @bigtonz42 lmfao!!!! its like recommending cisqo or silver satinas someones 1st drink 8-)

  • @aaronzack14 I don't know, maybe an El Credito serie R? I would ask your local tobaconist ;) .

  • if your not big into smoking, id try something with a custom flavor. Had a cheap cigar, maybe $5. it was from florida, guess it was a shops home made rum flavored cigar, Was thee best one ive had, light smoke but flavor was definitely there, very smooth. I think they even soaked the paper it was wrapped in with Rum.

tried out a Maker's Mark bourbon cigar $12-15 and it was also good, but those cheap $5 Rum ones were better.

  • Cigars are niiiiiiiiiiiice.

  • Ya I think you should try smoke weed.

  • Try chewing. That'll put hair on your chest

  • do u still have them i wil happly have them if u dont want them

  • There are tons of different styles/flavors of cigars. Maybe you just didn't find the type that suits you.

  • Smoking is not a hobby. It's an indulgence.

  • @cutlerylover Check out the comments below me, they're fuckin hilarious. Especially if you read them in a British accent, the way the guy would say it if he was talking. "Nazi loving inbred scumbag" "illiterate imbecile" "libelous tosser"... rotflmfao!!!

  • OMG !

Blabering wost then a teen girl

  • Unfortunately, those are not great cigars. That may be one of the the reasons that you did not enjoy the hobby.

  • cigars aren't working out cuz you're smoking cheap internet brands. go to a fine cigar store and get the right cigars.

  • Maybe try a corncob pipe ($5-$10) and an aromatic tobacco. Or a flavoured cigar such as Backwoods Honey Berry. ($5-$15) for a pack of 5.

  • Off cigars why don't u just put some of that sour diesel and light up that bong

  • Interesting video.

I just recently subscribed to your channel because I got a zippo recently... That and I've always been into guns and knives.

When I was young I loathed all types of smoking really. Some time after I turned 18 I tried a cigar on an impulse and now I enjoy them quite a bit but keep myself limited to one a month or so, maybe two depending on what I'm doing. I like cigars when I drink beer especially. I like keeping it moderate, it's fun to do. I however despise cigarettes.

  • Dude, cmon.

    Weed reviews

  • pogs rotfl

  • Im a hat collector.....in tf2

  • i still have my pogs. ha.

  • POGS! metal slamers!!!

  • Send me the Cigars! lol

  • what zippo did you use

  • whould have LOVED some more cigar vids from you... I really enjoy a fine stick every now and then...

  • This posting demonstrates the veracity of the adage "wise men speak because they have something to say. Fools speak because they wish to say something". Who cares that some retard likes the smell of cigars and pipe tobbacco but didn't like smoking. Only in America!

  • "Habit": a settled or regular tendency or practice. The Oxford reference dictionary.

English, not the American travesty of a language!

  • I've always wanted to start smoking cigars. but now u mentioned it im gonna get back to pogs :D

  • I've actually considered taking up pipe smoking. I hate the smell of cigarrettes, and I don't think I could possibly smoke a cigar because of how long they last; but I think I could light a pipe every now and then. My father actually found a glass pot pipe a few weeks ago. He didn't know what it was; but he picked it up because he liked the color pattern on it. I told my brother to make sure he got any trace of drugs out of the thing so he wouldn't get in trouble.

  • for gotnobrain22: Nicotine is addictive and that starts with occasional smoking. You can't remark anyway - you've got no brain. MORON!

Only a dumb Arerican could regard smoking as a hobby. It's a habit!

  • @noonsight2010 As Jeff said, If you CAN quit but dont want to.. It's a hobby. You are PRETTY FUCKING RETARDED!!!

  • @TheCardGuy521

You're somebody who advocates smoking a rolled-up poisonous leaf, immorrally grown on land which could be used for food production and stinking and stinking out people with smoke. Yet you call me a retard. If you can quit but don't want to and therefore don't, you're addicted! You the type of worthless areshole who pretty soon persuaded me to give up working on a cancer ward. You're not worth saving. Go and die of lung cancer the pathetic sad, dirty tosspot.

  • @noonsight2010 HOBBY - "An activity or interest pursued outside one's regular occupation and engaged in primarily for pleasure"

Thats the definition of HOBBY. If you dont agree with it then hassle the people who wrote the dictionary, not the people who use it and its definitions correctly. I see from your channel that youre a filthy fucking nazi lover, if you do it because you enjoy it then its a hobby. Though most regard it as a mental deficiency of some kind, the definition is there.

  • @tronclay So posting "Death to Nazis" on their filthy sites makes me a Nazi lover! I'm a life-long socialist, trade unionist and anti-nazi with a long and proven record against neo-fascism and racism. Come over to the UK and repeat that and I'll knock your teeth down your throat you libellous filthy tosser. I have no channel. Smoking is a dirty, polluting habit which deprives people of claen air , food and the genuinely ill (through no fault of their own opf healthcare. You lying tosser!

  • @noonsight2010 Theres a reason We left Europe. You are it. The UK is one of the biggest cesspools of the world, i wouldnt set foot there.

In other words.... Stop being such a faggot you nazi loving inbred scumbag.

  • @tronclay

You illiterate imbecile! Proof that American's can't understand English. I have no you tube channel, have never posted a video and have a life-long, proven hatred of Nazis. Members of my family were in the armed forces in WW2 as were elderly friends. You insult them as well as me, you lying libelous scum. I'd kick your head in for the insult to my Grandfather alone. You Yanks are so stupid you nuked your own country several times over. All over a pointless, moronic posting.

  • @noonsight2010 I really laugh at your pompous ignorance. You have proven nothing. The MULTIPLE hate messages on your channel regarding your nazi scumbag tendencies say it all. Your empty physical threats only prove how much of a whiny, petulant little child you are. In America we have different rules, if you aimed a kick at my head id shoot you because you obviously intended grievous bodily injury. You might want to pick your words more carefully if you ever get the PRIVILEGE of coming here.

  • @tronclay

As I have no You Tube channel and have posted only anti-nazi comments on nazi supporter postings and channels and have a proven anti-nazi record, I spit on you and your lies. Only ignorant, immoral scum have to resort to lies when reason evades them. Your libel is nasty. You need putting down I'm making a court application for your ISP to reveal your id for a libel action. You're just a YouTube spoiler and all you've done is show to the public what a liar you are.

  • @noonsight2010 You need to have a channel to have an account you fucking moron.

  • @tronclay

Who cares. I didn't know I had one. Anyway, that proves you're a lying scumbag as there's nothing on it, let alone pro-Nazi material. People can now have a look and see you're a lying piece of filth. Oh, and I'm a better shot than you. I can tell you that with no problem - I've played with more of the toys than you.

  • @noonsight2010 A firearm is not a toy its a tool. When i say tool i mean it has its uses, unlike you who are also a tool, but have no use to anyone.

    Fucking nazi apologist...

  • @zombotics

You're proof that Americans still don't understand irony! You lying, libelling tosser. I have a thirty year history of opposing neo-nazism. How many anti-nazi strikes have you organized? How many anti-nazi articles have you had published? How many anti-nazi comments haver you posted on YouTube?

  • @tronclay

I wonder what Welsh meatballs, oven cooked in onion gravy have to do with anything! You lying red-neck illiterate moron. You make Sarah Palin look intelligent. I expect we expelled your ancestors.

  • @noonsight2010 You expect? I guess thats all you can do is assume when you live in a cesspool that doesnt even require its people to be educated.

  • @tronclay

WIBBLE! You tosser! The UK had mandatory free public education while you lot were still keeping slaves, you filth.

  • Best thing to do with cigars is to roll blunts!

  • @TheTippmannballer not these kind of cigars lol...

  • @gotnobrain22 haha of course, dutches and swishers are basicly made for that lol.

  • @TheTippmannballer bluts and pot is for losers... -_-

  • @juggalomike19 people disagree lol

  • @TheTippmannballer well what you think dosen't really matter cuz your a bunch of low life druggies leaching of society so what you think means nothing

  • @juggalomike19 You're wrong man. Above the influence? Lies. All bullshit. The same ignorance which you show is the reason why society believes these lies. You, and millions of others are just dumb enough to buy into this bullshit and spread it, that's what you're doing. You are part of the problem. The only solution is to educate those who jump to such conclusions and support the empty claims of those against things they know nothing about. I suppose you didn't know that Jeff used to smoke weed?

  • @juggalomike19 wow due i dont smoke pot but there is nothing wrong with it and everyones thoughts matter and leaching off socity? really dude? you are a fucking troll why should your thoughts matter?

  • @ZxReDMisTxZ lol dude his username is juggalomike what do you expect

  • Cigarettes are a habit, cigars + pipes aren't

    (smoker for about 10+ years)

  • jeff flips razor sharp knifes, playes with fire, and consumes enormous amounts of hot sauce.. he takes a few puffs on a cigar and hes getting lectured..just shut up and let him do what he wants.. jeeze

  • been smoking cigars for years i love a good cigar once in awhile ( like maybe 2 a week if that ) it is costly but i bought 2 good humidors and i bought some cigar oasis humidifier systems basically u set it and forget its got a micro chip that controlled the humi level i buy all my cigars ( there store in in easton PA ) at a site called famous-smoke i suggest u get a mild variety pack try the baccarats they are delicious and some carlos torino exodus 1959 there my favorites not to pricey

  • I used to collect pogs and slammers like a champ, sadly even to the extent of competitions and the such, only slammer i miss, my "Bad Boy Shredder" Oh yeah top notch back in the day.

  • if you ever smoke a nice moist cigar and then smoke a dry one you will understand why
