  • FUCK the rebel scum. HAIL the EMPIRE!

  • The Empire is NOT the enemy, the rebel scum is the enemy.

  • @CelticWarrior1971 so true, i am in agreement 100% with you... the empire is just portrayed as the bad guys in the movie lol.. i wish it were the other way around and believe that it truly is :)

  • @RywokastDarkstar5000: Yes, down with the rebel scum. Lol.

  • @CelticWarrior1971

But it's so fun to be bad.

  • @electricboa: Yes, indeed it is.

  • @CelticWarrior1971 Tell that to Alderan.

  • @angrydead: Well I would, but you see, I can't get through to them because they're having... technical difficulties now. Heh Heh.

  • @CelticWarrior1971 Yeah nothing quite like genocide to poo-poo the idea that the Empire are the good-guys eh?

  • @angrydead: Well I guess it depends on who it is that you are genociding as to whether it is a good idea or not. Those people on Alderaan deserved it, otherwise The Empire would have never done such a thing. You need to have more faith in the emperor, and you need more LOYALTY too. Lol.

  • @CelticWarrior1971 If think you're arguing the case to be contrarian, the setting makes it abundantly clear that the empire is monstrous. Even the expanded universe makes it pretty clear the Emperor is a scumbag.

Snazy uniforms aside the Empire is pretty damn evil.

  • @angrydead: Well good and evil is largely based on one's own point of view. If you don't agree with The Empire's policies, then you undoubtedly would consider them evil, if you do agree with The Empire's policies, then you would undoubtedly consider them good. One thing of note, if The Empire did exist, I think it'd be safe to say that a lot of tax dollars would be freed up that are spent taking care of no good habitual criminal scum, as The Empire would just liquidate them & rightfully so.

  • @angrydead: Well, you can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.

  • @CelticWarrior1971 An incompetant theocracy run by psychopaths is a pretty shitty omelet.

  • @angrydead: Incompetent? It was only incompetent because "it was in the script", like when an entire legion of The Empire's best troops got their asses kicked by ONE SQUAD of rebel troopers and a bunch of stone age teddy bears. Yeah right, THAT would happen let me tell you. If it were real, I dare say The Empire would've swept away The Rebellion like an annoying mosquito, and I'd say they'd damn sure be able to deal with the care bears on Endor.

  • @CelticWarrior1971 Yes becouse it was in the script, you know the story that thing which is what the film is about. The defining trait of the Empire is that it sucked balls, the movies never made it out to be anything but awful and anything else is just fan-wank.

  • @angrydead: Fan wank? Lol. Yes I suppose it is just fan wank, but this "fan wank", in my case anyway, is taking the idea of The Empire from the movie, thinking outside the box(the script) with it, and thinking of what could be and probably WOULD be if it was really real. Oh and yeah, obviously I know what a script is, so I don't really see your point in pointing out that it is the storyline of the movie, being as I already know this. So, who's your favorite character in the movie?

  • @CelticWarrior1971 Actually no, their isnt really any point in empty speculation, a violent and brutal regime which treats it's subjects like garbage is the lowest regime possible, even corrupt totalitarian goverments like the Nazi's have tried to hide their nature from their subjects, the 3 origional films show how morally bankrupt the Empire was and their's no real indication of any redeeming traits unless you count mass murder a positive,

    Darth Vader

  • @angrydead: Depends on who you are talking about when you say mass murder, for instance, if one was referring to habitual criminal scum, I would be all for mass "murdering" them, but I wouldn't really regard it as murder so much as just taking out the trash.

  • @CelticWarrior1971 I'm not sure where your getting this from, Alderan was a pacifistic planet and coarse even if it wasnt dispraportional retribution springs to mind.

'trash', It's charming that you hold sentient life in such low regard-more indictive of yourself than a defence of the Empire, especially when we consider trash to be political dissedents and non-humans.

  • @angrydead: Well, I wasn't referring to Alderaan, I was referring again to if it were real that I'd be for wiping out habitual criminals, and as far as low regard for sentient beings go, well if people prove that they are nothing but habitual criminal scum after given chance after chance, in my opinion they no longer deserve to be treated as a sentient being with rights, but as nothing more than predatory animals that need to be put down.

  • @CelticWarrior1971 So your basic justification of a regime which is to the detriment of all sentients as a whole is you feel the Empire would be harder on criminals, considering Jabba appears to rule in his empire unmolested this is a very weak arguement.

  • @angrydead: Well, I see your point in regards to the movie, but I'd say that if it were real, no crime would be tolerated.

  • @CelticWarrior1971 ah but it clearly tolerates crime-Jabba the Hutt is a powerful ganster.

  • @angrydead: So your favorite character is Darth Vader? Curious, being as he pretty much embodies The Empire. Yeah I know it is just a movie and all, but I would think even so, being as you hate The Empire so much, that you wouldn't choose him, unless of course deep down you find something cool about evil and villains?

  • @CelticWarrior1971 Yeah he also embodies the Hero arc and specifically the idea of the fallen hero, I've always found the arc of fallen hero interesting becouse I enjoy tragedies.

Nonsense even if I did like the snazy costumes and style it wouldnt make the empire good would it? Afterall Nazi uniforms look much more impressive than British kit, that doesnt really change the Nazi's into the good guys

  • @angrydead: Yeah, a fallen hero that fell to the dark side and did what many would consider some pretty evil shit. Anyway, let me put it to you another way, if the movies were real, then who would your favorite character be?

You mentioned the British kit, are you a reenactor? Just curious.

  • @CelticWarrior1971 Most likely Luke or mon motha, people who want to help their fellow man are far more admirable than any vader or palpatine.

No but I have an interest in military history.

  • @angrydead: This is true, a good person is usually always favorable over an asshole.

  • @angrydead: You know, I always wondered why people love villains in movies so much like Darth Vader, The Joker, etcetera, but would despise a person like that if they were real and indeed DO despise real people who exhibit similar character traits as these movie characters. It's like if they are on a movie screen, their evil deeds rock, but if they are real people, they suck. I find that curiously interesting. Continued.

  • @CelticWarrior1971: Continued. I know an excuse might be something like, no one gets hurt in movies, but why cheer evil at all fictional or non-fictional, if you're against it? I just find it interesting that people do that. Like in The Dark Knight, people LOVED The Joker and think he is badass and all of that, but I dare say that most of these people wouldn't want to even meet The Joker if he were real let alone hang out with him, and probably damn sure wouldn't think he is cool. Interesting.

  • @CelticWarrior1971 I think you're failling to make the distinction between interesting fictional figures and ethics, simply becouse Darth Vader, Dr Doom or Hannibal lector eat any scene they're in doesnt really reflect an acceptance of their values and ethics it simply reflects them being interesting from a plot point.

  • @angrydead: I see what you are saying, but I mostly hear stuff not like what you are saying, but rather stuff like, "The Joker is a badass", "he rocks", and "he is fucking cool". When people say things like this it seems to me that they aren't praising the actor's acting abilities or the character "eating a scene", but rather that they think the character is badass because of what they do, and maybe that's because most people lack the balls to do what villains do, I don't know.

  • @CelticWarrior1971 FINEALLY! someone who knows what they are talking about!! the rebles are bad and The Galactic Empire is good!

  • @501darth: Yes, and I find these others' lack of faith on here... disturbing.

  • Epic as always, gotta say though one of my favorites out of the ones you've made.

  • awesome, Green Day is awesome!

  • You' really captured the energy of both Star Wars and the song well, which can be difficult.

There's something about this song that makes it have the memorability of a catchy dance tune but yet the long-lasting power of a good rock song.

  • AWESOME!! Great vid!! I love Green Day!

  • Man your good at what you do!
