  • what a grear voice! я так люблю его *)

    thank you for uploading

  • HE SOUNDS SOOOOOO GOOD!!!

  • Wow - didn't know he could sing as well as this after the surgery. His falsetto work here is stunning in it's sweetness. Pity he can't do it now. Very impressed.

  • He RARELY plays this. My favorite EJ song. Wow. Blows me away!

  • wooow, falsettooo:)))))

  • His voice was so good in 1993, he could hold a note then too which he can't do thesedays (you can't if you sing from the throat)

  • @77edster he sang better in the early 70s but he had nodules removed off his throat for over use.

  • I was just listening to "Goodbye Yellow Brick" from Austin this year... and I think I heard a bit of the falsetto on it... it's on "you know you can't hold me forever

  • I've also found falsetto on very recent recordings of All The Girls Love Alice ("If I give you my number"). It's not very strong, but he manages to hit the notes.

  • @MJacksonLive You are right:-) he goes from Bb1 to octave higher - Bb2, yeah

  • More falsetto can be heard not only in the late 80s/early 90s, but also as late as Ephesus 2001 (he hits the high notes in Honky Cat).

  • Perfect performance!

  • beautiful song

  • It's a bit like watching Willie Mays when he played for the Mets. You just had to

think back to his years with the NY and

SF Giants when he was so gifted and

    exciting.

  • eltons not overweight this was 17 years ago he looked great then and now for his age.

  • Took me 25 years and this live version to realize how wonderful this song is...

  • this is the best live or studio version i have ever heard of this song i just wish it was better sound quality

  • one of the only concerts after the surgery he attempted to do his falsetto...he ocassionally slips into it these days...if he feels he really wants to..

  • I think he can still do it - if you listen to 'All The Girls Love Alice' when he slips into it, it is still there, strongly. I think he tends to sing from his throat a lot these days - and does it well - but I am sure he can still do this. I love him!

  • @this3bitch3is3back Listen to bootlegs from the late 80s... Poplar Creek 1988, Verona 1989, and Philadelphia 1989. Lots of good high notes and falsetto in those recordings, post-surgery too. My favorite vocal period for Elton was the late 80s and early 90s.

  • Even more haunting in this key and without the band. Amazing. 1993 was the last year he hit the falsettos.

  • Interestingly enough, when he does the song now (without the falsetto) he plays it in its original key of B, not A, as here.

  • I've seen 9 Elton concerts ('80s-'00s) and he never did this one, great to hear! I much prefer his stripped down sound without the band.

  • Loved his falsetto. It works so well with his deeper voice. I bet he's still got it in him today...

  • hehe i love how he pulled off his falsetto :D so cute

  • uploap more please.i´m an "histeric" fan....and i have all videos from youtube about elton dowloaded

  • Me too mate!

  • this is must been rare , i have never seen it b4 amazing to say the least

  • Wow thanks for the upload!!
