I take it, however, through the athirst entuthiasm with which you are defending your views that you mean the Christian god? or Allah? If so, the first cause argument is null due to the fact that it could be a kind of 'energy' that caused the universe, or Woden, Vishnu, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, etc.
Regardless, we simply do not have the knowledge yet to discern the actual first cause.
