@willspock Oh really? I thought that kid who is in some of WHY's 'joke' videos was the guy that ran the label. But yeah I hear a bunch of abstract experimental bands on Anticon now. I rather them keep it even with some more hip hop but I still love Anticon. I'd love to hear a duet with Alias and Sole. Hopefully Alias will make an album with more than instrumentals on it.

I don't think he's necessarily going abstract, He just moving on to what he likes and wants to work on. Though i like his older stuff I enjoy a lot more, i still respect him for what he wants to do and not really for someone else's or other reason.

I love the melancholy relfection  of the lyrics and the way it's mirrored by the piano. Makes me sad that most people have the 50 Cent and Soulja Boy impression of hip hop when there's such thoughtful and frankly beautiful music like this.

there's actually a Nujabes beat that uses the sample. It's called Beyond. Maybe that's what he was thinking about. but many people have used the same sample. I believe DJ Shadow has too.
