hey man Im glad I ran across you video... seems I can't find anyone with 1 chamber muffs with an o/r x...Heres my issue, I ran straights pipes (so no H or X) to cherry comb extreme (essentially identical to 10 series flows...not glasspacks, about 6" long body), and it sounds horrible 3k rpm and up... will an o/r X help smooth it out? If possible.. can you get a better quality video? :) check out my video too, so you can see what I mean.. it sounds all blown out and thwappy! Thanks brother
yeah i hear what your talking about. the x-pipe with help a whole lot, but if u run pipes out the back make them atleast 3 inch. i had 2 1/2 inch tails on mine and it made it pop so i just put turndowns on it. its alot deeper and it doesn't pop. even just an x-pipe will make a world of difference. just get that and try it with your tips and if it continues to pop just change your tips or put turndowns. I'll try to borrow my friends camcorder this sunday and let u hear it better
my tips are 3.5", but 2.5 pipping. I had a red 90 5.0 notch, 306, o/r x, 10 series flows, with turndowns and it sounded great, i was just so dissappointed when I had my current exhaust put on. thank you for the quick response.
hah thats awesome, I also had to roll my fenders to fit the tires... that car reminds me of my 92 coupe for some reason, Its in car heaven, it was camo painted... lol
mine was about 3 different colors when i got it so i just flat blacked it till i can buy my paint lol. it may not look like it but its an old ssp police car. its a shame some idiot pulled the motor and trans out of it before i got it or it would be worth alot of money
