I would only recommend vanilla card (STOCK)

or the FTW, nothing in between as EVGA have a binning process to rate there cards sc cards are sc because they didnt make it as a ssc or FTW. SSC are ssc because they didnt cut it as a FTW. The vanilla ones are cards that didnt make it as any of the oc'ed versions, but there are also vanilla cards that arent tested and binned, these can be super clockers and if had been tested would have maybe made it into the FTW class. FTW garanteed 720 core clock

The BFG 295 comes with a hdmi cable but when i got the gx2s on launch they didnt i think it depends on what brand you buy.

Ive moved away frrom XFX now they took nearly 3 months to replace my bad 280 although they upgraded it to a XXX version when it finally completed, but the other reasons are the clock speed they have launched there 285s with they are no faster than there 280s with the black edition being the exeption, but even that isnt as fast as most other branded flagship editons. They normally have the fastest clocked cards out of the lot, it seems they wud rather fuck around with ATI at the mo, so Fuck them

Also if the toss up is between the 920 and good video card and 965 and crap video card get the 920 it will over clock to basically the same speed as any 965 can hit on air or water with the few exeptional chips. The only time its worth getting the 965 is if you really can afford it (Bragging rights) or you use ln2, phase change or dry ice

You can change the refrence cooler with any evga card as they have a modder freindly warrenty they also cover you for overclcoking and use of there voltage tool, please check for where you live as warrenties differ in different parts of the world North america and canada are defo covered for modder warrenty

As far as i know the modder warrenty doesnt apply for us brits :( Things may have changed tough so its worth checking but still if you card ever fails just dont tell them the card was overclocked or you swapped the stock fan for water blocks as long as you can but the old stuff back on that is.

I just constantly sell the old stuff and add a little cash to it that way i dont really have to spend to much. Its not possible to sli the 285 amnd 295 but you can install on same mobo and use one for physx only but a 285 or 295 is bloody expensive physx card.

I was a big fan of xfx but have you seen the clock speeds on the xfx gtx 285s no different to the the 280s thats why, also ive been waitng over 2 months for a replacement 280 from them and finally they are making ati cards this may have something to do with it oh and the voltage tweaker supports only evga cards. so theres 4 reasons
