CSJ, I haven't forgotten about your inquiry regarding "Manzil Wohi Pyar Ki" and "Dheere Chal Dheere Chal Aye Bheegi Hawa" resembling a western tune. Before signing off Youtube permanently, I will find it and pass it to you.
Another tune copied by OP "Hey Babu Yeh Hai Zamana Tera" from Rosemary Clooneys(actor George Clooney's late mother) "Hey Mambo, Mambo Italiano Hey Mambo".
Attention Roomies! Dera Dhun has the best BASMATI Rice! Second to none! And Chandershekharjain is from Dera Dhun. So, it becomes his obligatory duty to treat us all with some Biryani made from Dera Dhuni Basmati Rice! CSJ, fire up the chula(stove) we're all hungry here!
@RealMusicKing Unfortunately Majra fields of DDn have turned into colonies, so hardly any Basmati available now. ONLY DUPLICATE OF WHAT IT USED TO BE. Brand name Basmati has been PIRATED and owned by amreekans. So presenting here is .some imported vintage wine instead.
Sinhala Film Music - SUDU AIYA - CHAMARA GEETHEY MEY
@chandrashekharjain I agree with original songs in original voices. I am fully against re-mix, jhankar-mix and songs sung by mediocre singers. Nayyara has sung some good ghazals. YT her Behzad Lucknowi's "Ae Jazbaa-e-Dil Gar Main Chahoon, Har Cheez Muqabil Aajaye". But her singing Khurshid, is NO NO.
Of course, White Tun Tun has you for a lifetime admirer. I'm sure he's on YT somewhere. LOL.
@chandrashekharjain Hey let's not try to dodge the B.O.B.(Bullet Of Biryani) now! Dera Dhun soil grows the best Basmati. There's one sold in Europe and U.S. by "Lal Qilla" brand about $2.50 per pound(1/2 KG). Well, if you're being frugal about treating us to it............well............
@chandrashekharjain USA pattened the word "Basmati Rice" and do grow it "Artifically" in Texas called "Texmati". Basmati is grown in a special delta which is only found in Nepal, India and Pakistan out of which India grows the most.
Film Lal Qilla was released in 1962 music by S.N. Tripathi who was originally from Meerut. All songs were excellent since S.N. Tripathi was trained in Indian classical music. Swan song of the film was the ghazal by Rafi written by Bahadur Shah Zafar.
What an awesome combo of Rafi + Shammi ! There is never a dull moment with Shammi around with Rafi's genius in full flow. I just love this rocking number which always peps up my spirits. Thanks yuan for this rare gem.

Warewa. King of songs from the one and only Rafi Sahib. Where are this kind of songs in Bollywood, even after 50 yrs we hear with lots of nostalgia.
