Sakura in the first series did very little fighting and if she did she got trashed. Naruto showed promise so Jiraiya decided to teach him. Sasuke showed promise so kakashi decided to teach him. Sakura was the only one of the trio who went to a teacher for help. Now in shippuden she can defend herself and others in a fight pretty well. Great improvement Sakura!

How are Ninja suppose to survive without their Medic. Medical ninja is HUGE, and how is Sakura suppose to save people if she dies in battle ? Which is why she is not in many fights because a Medical Ninja is suppose to evade battles. Though she is still strong enough to hold her own battle id she has too cause of her Super Strength, which is why Tsunade thought her how to control it. Sakura is far from useless and in The Fourth Great Ninja War she is going to play a big role as a Head Medic Unit

Kishimoto made Sakura as a human aspect. She's real and she shows true emotions (unlike half of the boring ninja in this series) Sakura is just like any other teenage girl who falls in love with a guy. That just makes her human. And the reason she is not in many fights is because her main focus is as a Medical Ninja. She is one of the best Medical Ninja (besides Tsunade) in the series as she saved 100 of people during the Pain Attack, even Sasori was impress by how Sakura figured out his poison.

What pisses me off the most is people always underestimating Sakura. Just cause you have a cool jutsu does no where mean you are powerful. Strength, Intelligence, Skills, Tactics, those are making of a strong ninja. This is my favorite battle in Naruto because it was pure RAW fighting, no fuckin stupid overpowered jutsu's. Sakura is the best in her class and is one of the best Medical Ninja in the Land of Fire (Under Tsunade of course) She doesn't need to speacila clan/chakra to kickass

SM naruto could use a rasenshuriken or two to thin the herd, and then have regular shadow clones do the dirty work if his SM chakra ran out. we don't know tsunade's full capabilities. mei? no way. vapor and lava style would just disentigrate those puppets. kakuzu would just jutsu the shit outta them

That doesn't sound like talk of a person still being controlled. So no, she wasn't being controlled. Not for the entire fight at least. If she was being controlled for the entire fight then it's pretty damn rude to throw a person in front of you to take a blade to the gut

@LightningHaki No. Not the entire fight. It was mostly for dodging Sasori's strikes in a pattern and learning more about her opponent. This part of the fight she wasn't being controlled. Chiyo was busy controlling the 10 puppets. She handled herself and quite well too 0:28 - 0:33 . You don't have to beat every enemy that crossed your way. You just have to prove that you can fight back. And if you can't then help out in a different manner. That's what makes Sakura a good ninja

That's a medic's mastery level. Plus her stats are higher than Anko's who is a Jounin level ninja. Sakura's ability is just about low Jounin level at best. And she must've saved 100's of people in the alliance. Making her a main target by Zetsu.To become a main target by akatsuki is skill

@Ttadmer if you talking about other character ok beside she heal what she can do to help out her team or herself. She can fight CQC but not against Hinata a Taijutsu user, she good with some ninjutsu Jutsu but not very high-level jutsu and she have no genjutsu technique she will get own by Itachi. She don't have her own high-level Jutsu like Kabuto's Yin Healing Wound Destruction and Tsunade's Yin Seal: Release Jutsu. Konan is way better than Sakura. Sakura is one of the weakest Kunoichi
