@YourMum970 Yes thats called a bunker buster. Its meant to penetrate the ground and it senses when it goes into an open void, then detonates. Some are also fused to blow at a certain depth no matter if theres a void or not.
that was a GBU-39, Small Diameter Bomb. 200lb gross weight GPS guided for standoff capabilities. they are not your typical "Bunker Buster" bombs like the GBU-28 which was a Howitzer barrel turned into a bomb that weighed 5000lbs and was Lazer guided
