I'm on a PC and I use Photoshop CS4, but I don't have the Extract tool... After I click on "Filter" I can only see "Filter Gallery", "Liquify" and "Vanishing Point"... I see that I'm missing the "Extract" and the "Pattern Maker"... Is that because of the PC version? Aaah, I hate the Magic Wand Tool! Anyway, thanks you so much for this great tutorial.
Hey about half way through the the cursor changes to the hand tool and i cant change it back or do anything it stays on the hand tool. how do i change it? thanks

@tareksobhs In CS4, the Extract filter is an optional install...chuck your installation discs back in and you'll be right!

You should just be able to hit 'V' to select the Move Tool. If it's actually stuck on the hand tool, maybe you need to relaunch Photoshop.
