These students are a very poor example of stifled free speech.. This story is local to me, and so I have been following it closely.
The students in the video were from a group that planned, scripted, and choreographed their disruption. They broke the law and were found guilty.
Others at that meeting wanted to hear what was to be said, so I guess the counter argument would be that the students prevented the speaker from exercising his right to free speech.

The right to free speech only protects us from government censure, not private censure. This issue is becoming severely muddied in these debates. I agree that the Government, at all levels, is failing to protect us from violent response to our opinions, and this must be addressed in many ways until it is made right.
