Hi Prizm4, this is a fantastic video and it brought back so many memories of when I was in Japan last year. Can't wait to return.
Just wanted to check the name of the track at the very beginning of Part 2 - you listed it as A State of Mind (documentary). Is this the film about the two North Korean school girls? Do you have any more details of the track as I'm not sure I can get hold of it in the UK. Thanks.
i should have taken lots of videos like you but i was so mindblowned and amused that i actually forgot to. btw the same thing happened to me with the toilet :)
@meika1016 The hotel rooms we stayed in generally cost between 7500-12,000 yen, which in US dollars would probably be $70-110. We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, so couldn't justify spending more. Park Hyatt was just a treat for one night and cost 5x as much.
God this makes me miss tokyo!! I want to go back so so bad. I lived for a year there, but never really took videos or many pictures. I just kept forgetting to, and now I regret it.
Thank you for putting this up and compiling it so well.
Good video I hope I go someday. What do you people mean by "Lost in Translation"? Like going to another country without knowing the language they speak?
Hi BeKoed - Lost in Translation is a movie with Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. If you liked my video, you'll probably enjoy the movie.
Oh, and with regards to your other comment, don't wait until you're fluent in Japanese before you go to Japan. Just go whenever you have the means, you won't regret it.
awesome musik und scenes. a lot of "lost in translation" mood indeed =D
i almost visited all the places you want except for nikko and that amusement park.
i know it's a lot to ask but could you guys list the songs you used in the video? i really liked them and if you put them in the description everybody has something from it.
Here's a tracklist of the songs used (in order of appearance): Part 1: Death in Vegas - Girls The Island OST - My Name is Lincoln Lost in Translation OST - On the Subway Now and Then, Here and There OST - Komoriuta Rig - Standardized Part 2: A State of Mind (documentary) - music from the DVD. Vangelis - La Mort Du Loup Vangelis - Creation Du Monde Lost in Translation OST - Shibuya
It's an older Panasonic model, the GS55. It's not even 3CCD. However for my next upgrade I'd certainly look at the Panasonics as I like the colour they produce and they usually have a lot of manual controls.
Your room commands a very fine view.

Hi, i have a question. How much did it cost you this entire trip? In dollars and yen please. Thanks and by the looks of it, it was awesome.
Peace.

So, what's your verdict?
Was it worth the money you spent?
Do you have a plan to go back or rather visit another country?
