geez...the wing's for downforce; the gt-r was a concept car (made to feature/hint at automotive futures), which was used in creating the mustang gt 500fr. wings are useful: they help stabilize the car at speed; however, the wings you see on most ricers don't really accomplish that purpose (they do, but only slightly), and are more of a fashion statement. this is a race car, not a rice car. look up trans-am racing from the 60s and 70s. or any road racing (not street racing) in general

Same thing happened with Mitsibushi GTO, AKA 3000GT Dodge had GTO incorperated and prevented Mitsu from using it in the states. But it was still a GTO in the rest of the world. Grand Touring is what GT stands for, and Ford has never had a good suspension on the Mustangs worthy of such a name.

this car has 440 hp and 400 torque, and it is naturally aspirated(no turbos or superchargers) and it is a "potential future race car" which means it is a concept car. and how is it ricey? everything is functional, so it adds performance. RICEY is when it is modded to LOOK fast, but really does nothing (i.e. a wing on a front wheel drive car) ...just thought I should clear up any arguments...

Not impressive? That's a world class race car! Ford and Saleen dumped millions of dollars in engineering this beauty. To bad it isnt expected to hit the streets for a couple of years...and there's rumors around that you have to have a SCCA class racing liscense just to own one, for those of you that could afford it.
