It looks like the attacker was partially co-operating with the defender and he didn't look all that co-ordinated, maybe he's a new student but the art looks sort of like Judo. The effect of an art in the field looks about the way it should, not perfect but adequate.

chiman...it was not rearranged Dave Patten was instructed to just attack and be sure to fall correctly. GM Jeng would do what ever unfolded as a response.
