at everyone asking if we will ever have amazing country music like loretta lynn, patsy cline or tammy wynette again, well we probably wont. just like the alan jackson and george strait duet "murder on music row" the producers only produce what will sell and get awards. sad :(
This is not very good and it isn't because Loretta Lynn isn't awesome. She is sooo awesome! She is simply no match for the power of the Twitty and sounds bad in comparison.
Conway Twitty's hair had more sad masculinity than a pack of angry baby boomer lesbians. This sadness bled through his skull into his vocal cords which in turn spit out such angry lesbian masterpieces as 'Hello Darling'.
@TL160....I agree! I've always thought she was one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. I think she has some indian heritage. It looks like it anyway, with those high cheekbones. Actually, everything about Loretta is just adorable! Especially her long, pretty hair & that magnificent smile! :D
I love this video lol. I used to not really care for country. But since my grandparents passed in mid to late 08, I've really got into a lot of it. My grandma used to own a dance hall in Maysville, Ga. Anyways, she used to sing this song at the end of the night every Saturday when the dance was open. She got told all the time she and Loretta favored a lot and sounded similar. I love this song it reminds me so much of my granny lol. I started crying like I am now typing this when this started.
They say it's the memories music brings back that make it so magical. It makes no difference whether you heard the music when it was first released or 50 years later. Yet classical country music is so calming because of the innocence of it and time it was made. Takes you back, even if you werent around to live in that time.
This is beautiful. Really adds something to the original. It cries out!

Excellent song. Country used to tell a story or have more emotion. Now it is all a bunch of crap. Give me the classics anyday!

@flamingangel999
I agree. Dont get me wrong, "some" of the music today is ok, but that country twang from back in the day is the best.
