can you tell me why they have a percent number when they start out with the hole cards? How does someone know when to fold or raise when they just have 2 cards? Or is it only appropriate to fold during the flop?

@finnsia because of all the combinations of community cards (flop turn and river) that could come out, each particular hand is rated to win a certain percentage of the time against another particular hand preflop. For example, AK vs QQ is roughly 50/50% or AA vs KK is roughly 80%/20% as out of all the possible combinations of community cards, AA will win on 80% of the combinations :)

@finnsia because of all the combinations of community cards (flop turn and river) that could come out, each particular hand is rated to win a certain percentage of the time against another particular hand preflop. For example, AK vs QQ is roughly 50/50% or AA vs KK is roughly 80%/20% as out of all the possible combinations of community cards, AA will win on 80% of the combinations :)

Nothing noteworthy about that fold... I suck at poker, and I fold that. Just like he said, if Villain bets--I fold. In fact, I just flat call that donk, and when/if Villain raises, I'm done with the hand. If he calls, I check-fold turn.

It was a good fold by Daniel, but not amazing. Remember it was a raised pot preflop and Antill called on the flop while ir was 4 handed. The only draw (57) came in on the turn. What hand could Antill call the flop with that Daniel beats on the river? If Antil held a medicore hand like 55, 77, A6 etc then he has no reason to bet the river as he only gets called by hands that beat him.
Good disciplined fold though by Daniel...
