  • Pretty sick dude

  • I was under the impression that of all the parts, the necks are always made in U.S. Even MIM necks. They are shipped the mexico and assembled there. If this is true your talk about the MIM neck vs American necks is in your head?

  • All the necks are made in US, shipped to Mexico.

  • That's exactly what I said.

  • I just got a 99 MIM strat which has a killer maple neck (I was never really a fan but its growing on me.)

My 04 fat strat (rosewood) gets great tones as well. Im thinking of swapping necks, but who knows.

I havent seen as big of a jump between the MIM and MIA strats, as I have with the squier and MIM's.

In any case the 50-75 bux for a real setup new nut is the best money spent on a new strat.

  • well i own a a MIM 2005 stratocaster and i love it

it is great for blues and rock

  • If you get into gigging or playing big rigs I was told a change to noiseless pickups would be the best investment you can buy.

  • thanks i am thinking about replacing the pickups with dimarzio noiseless
