turinturumbar001, I couldn't agree more. (For that matter, Nick & Carla also seem to get paired a lot.) As much as I love watching them dance together, it probably makes it awfully hard for them to place. Entering a social-dance competition and then getting paired with a current partner can't make it easy to impress the judges. Still, it's fun to watch them improvise together. :)

@brettzforeman well it might be that, but the judges i know aren't biased towards things like that - the judge you for what you bring to that contest on that day, not what they've seen before. i can't say that for all judges but, i think its also a matter of his awful timing - he's always off beat in contests.
