Where do they dump it from? Actually Vanessa I've always wondered that too? I just don't know? (Green slime) Very interesting. Is it always green? Yeah it usually is but I guess it could be red. (Red slime) Or blue (Blue slime) Or yellow (Yellow slime) Yeah. Alright you think you're so smart? Let's see stripes! (Red, Yellow, and Blue slime) Boy it must be tough being a TV star. How does this stuff come out? It usually comes out with water. (Water) Usually.
they later found out that the green slime was toxic, it was actually made out of mercury and cancer causing substances. The host later sued for 1 million in a lawsuit but died a year later.
@kaptainwarp if they did that to those dumb bitches on The View every time they said something stupid, you would never see them there would be a swimming pool of green slime on the stage.
The first one was great; in an interview she (Stephanie) said she actually liked it. Not just for the extra pay the kids got, but she liked how it felt and stuff.
I wish that this was the way the real world operated. Whenever someone says "I don't know?" You'd get slimed. I also gotta say. I loved this show. Awesome.
I don't know. (slimed) Well, I do know what slime is made of. It's made of cornstarch, jello powder, sometimes soap and even water would be the last one maybe. (watered) (saying Moose's line) See what I mean?
I went to Nickelodeon studios at Universal back in '91 when I was 11 and they told us that the slime was edible. Probably water, food coloring/jello and something to thicken up the consistency
(slimed) Wait a minute! That's not fair. What just happened idespiseall? You just said "I don't know". (slimed again) I'm not the one who said it for the first time, you did.
Moose was Christine's nickname in real life, not just on the show. It has been said that she got the nickname because of her short stature, but one cast member said that Christine hated her curly hair and was always trying to flatten it down with her hands, which made it look like she had "moose antlers." In any case, when Christine mentioned this nickname to the show's producers, they wrote it into the script of every show, so she must have had a REALLY hard time living it down.
I really liked the sneaky ways Alasdair gets them to say "I don't know" or water. In his own words: "Sometimes it's so easy I'm ashamed of myself." :)
Insufficient data. (slimed) Wait a minute. Wait just a minute, that's not fair! I didn't even say "I don't know". (Looks up) I DON'T KNOW! Oh, silly me, the slime was being computer controlled.
If you watch the clip, she said, 'Insufficient data'...which was a computer's version of saying 'I don't know'. Part of the clip was to show that the slime was being computer controlled for that one scene. Doesn't make sense, but that was the brilliance of the show.
No mistake. It was part of the plot of the episode ("Families", from 1984). The boy (Jeff) is Ross's nephew, but Ross says that he can't get Jeff slimed or wet or "his mother will kill me!"
However, at the end of that very episode, Jeff says "I.D.K." and DOES get slimed.
The part that I saw was funny when the man with the water hose sprays water the kids, Stephanie yelled "Turn the water off!!!", then the water from above dumped all over her.
Uh oh, I think you said the word "water". (Gets watered) Actually there's no water above you though. (Gets watered again) Gosh, how did I get away with this?
She made those sound when I was tapping her.

On the 1984 episode "Famillies", Lisa's first word as a baby was "Wawa" which was a baby word for "water". (watered) "Wawa" was a funny word.

At 3:47-3:52, the water people made a mistake that they dumped the water on Chrieste when she didn't say the word "water".
