It's a shame thath a desiring God conference is held at a church of who's leading pastor Rick Warren leads people away from sound doctrine. A pastor who uses " The Message" in his bestseller. A bilble "translation" with the phrase As above So below
A well known occult phrase. It comes down to pantheism
But Jesus clearly said "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. People do your research, it's the least you can do for you eternal destanation
Is this the one that will be held at Rick Warren's church? Some people have said that Piper's association with Rick Warren in tacit endorsement. Any truth to that?

Wow!! In our church (in Maryland) my pastor stood up last week and said how God has impressed on him that he needs to go even deeper in prayer, and that the focus of the first part of this year will be preaching on prayer and the power in prayer. Evidently God has impressed the same thing on other pastors! Awesome!!
@minty11 That's so awesome.. haha my pastor did the same thing in Georgia..! Our whole focus this next year is unity in prayer. I guess God is really impressing prayer on believers this year for some reason.
