No, no no!!, this is a incorrect tab and your version is incorrect, you most watch Matt bellamy (muse vocal & guitar), the song is false, but you going to find the recorrect freets and strings and view the correct tab

its easy to get a synthy sound from either an otto phase line six effect or if any of you have checked out boss's new v-wah pedal that has a mode to where it warps the guitar to a fun synth sound, and of course and standard flanger will help with some tweaking.

That's definitely an Epiphone. You can tell by the the curvature of the headstock. Gibson's headstock have a much sharper curve to them. You can also see that the truss rod cover has three screws instead of 2.
