  • You're a fail

  • you should never use pliers, you could damage your trumpet by doing that. and you use cold or room temperature water

  • by paint I think you mean the varnish finish

  • @theguy40267 by varnish i think you mean lacquer :)

  • That was really good!you taught me how to clean my trumpet!!thank you!!!!!:):):). Ur cute too!:)

  • the best way to remove stuck bottom caps is by tapping them on an angle with a wooden headed hammer. you have to hit fairly hard but since it's wood, it won't mar the caps. the hits will break up the dirt enough to get the caps off.

  • never EVER use pliers (wrench) on a trumpet!!!!

    EVER!

  • u guys give him a fricken break he is cute to so yeah

  • do you speak spanish?? i dont speak english but i think if you speak sapnnish maybe u can help me with my problem

  • PAINT???PAINT??? Im glad Im not buying this kids trumpets....he probably DOES paint them!!! And its ok to use luke-warm water....even Monette videos say its ok...and those are pliers, right?? Thought maybe it was some new politically correct thing....LOL

  • Don't get it but thanks

  • Wat is this

  • Thank You for teaching me the wrong way to do this

  • you sir are an idiot. you are ruining that Getzen Severinsen Etrena.

  • Wrap masking tape around the pliers jaws!! It gives a good grip and won't slip or mark the horn.

  • had to oil trumpet. cna't get the taste out

  • And why in the hell would you use dish soap?

  • when you take out your slides press down the corresponding valve, that "pop" you hear is not good, it can cause damage to your slides

  • I only soak tuning slides in water, and dip my valves in d then use spitballs on the rest. And I use the slide grease that comes in carmex containers because it lasts longer and is not as messy,

  • Those Are Pliers Not a Wrench!!

  • Novel price to the most stupid kid

  • I wouldn't suggest using pliers to remove the endcaps, it can crush the ends of the valve case and ruin the action on the valves. If they're really that stuck take it to a professional. Also when putting them back together I put a couple drops of oil onto the threads to make them easier to take off next time.

In addition, put a towel in the tub. Otherwise you run the risk of scratching your trumpet.

  • que bruto usando agua caliente y después una herramienta para soltar las tapas de los émbolos arriesgando las guías de los otros émbolos esto está para el idiota de la semana felicidades

  • ur an idiot... never use a wrench, use cold water, and push valves down to take off slides. rename ur account to ' trumpetkiller96 '

  • My teacher uses very cold sanitized liquid for our trumpets. Then we rinse out the sanitized liquid with cold water and then dry it off with a towel. I don't think you should use hot water, but there isn't much of an effect if you use hot instead of cold or cold instead of hot.

  • @nesnaj21 hot water makes the tubing of the trumpet expand, making it VERY out of tune for a couple days after cleaning it that way

  • You are supposed to push the valves in order to take the slides off. If you don't it could create a vacume.

  • you have a long mouthpeice

  • I cringed at 4:23. NEVER, ever use a wrench on an instrument unless if you are a technician! It is an easy way to strip the threads on your instrument. Even though you use a towel it can be relatively easy to crush the end cap or even the valve casing. Use a rubber jar opener instead.

  • So useful

  • r u in bad

  • my band teacher said very cold water

  • push down 3 valves when you are removing any slide

  • you shouldnt use bach or al cass valve oil. use blue juice or ultrapure

  • @chooechooe how long do you leave it in there for

  • @skateboardingssick13 less than 10 min

  • @chooechooe I disagree. Bluejuice and ultrapure are synthetic oils and can gunk up the inside if you switch from a petroleum based oil. Al cass works just fine.

  • @DocMcFluhry it really depends on the person. synthetic oils are faster and petroleum doesnt clog up trumpets. but petroleum based smells bad.

also id prefer synthetic because i clean my trumpet alot
