Here's my two cents. On the subject of the police protecting you. Situation. Armed burglar breaks into your house. You don't own a gun, so you call the cops. Bad guy is trashin your house, stubles on you, pops you twice in the head with your phone to your ear. 10-15 minutes later the police arrive. Nuff-said. The police are here to "clean up" crime...literally...clean up after it. When life and death is timed in seconds, your police officers are 10 minutes away.

MAYBE, Just maybe at her age she could not hear so well! have been around people that old and their hearing is not so great! Someone shouting from behind a door can be hard to hear, Especially if you have a well insulated home, But the LOUD crashing in of a door she may have heard and being scared and not knowing what was going on, she did what every American should do! A sad commentary after the fact. My condolences to the family of the late Mrs. Johnson. The police should have had more than their claimed informers' word that he purchased drugs at the Johnson home before obtaining the warrant. The informer denied any cponnection with the address. He said, the police told him to lie to the effect that he gave them this info. The police evidently failed to conduct a proper surveilance with photos of drug activity or any suspected buys at the location.

I have seen unimaginably horrible crimes committed by my fellow officers. Why did I not say anything? They would have become a public relations tool to try to tell the public this behavior would not be tolerated and they would have hired people just like them to replace them.
