  • I am trying to watch every doctor who episode. Ever. In order. Which means I haven't even seen the new series yet. I'm still on the fourth doctor.

  • @Forthelemon

Thats pritty cool, keep on doing :D

Becaus I am kind of watching from the back :D

  • what episode is this from?

  • Time War... wasn't that the title of a bad 80s Jean Claude VanDam movie?

  • I just want to hug him at 1:03. He looks like he needs a hug.

  • We are the Timelords, billions of years on evolution and then we master time itself! We have evolved not to Hate (finally). We become the Timelords and travel around ensuring time travel isn't used to create paradoxes. Timelords are as alien to us as we are from Zoo-plankton, their concept of time would confuse us, so when The Doctor says Gallifrey Burned long ago, he likely referring to his own History. He protects the earth to ensure that the Timelords can exist - and die protecting creation

  • I cried!

  • @CaptainPeenNoPants I don't remember her name, but I do know she's the villain in the Series 3 Ep. 1 "The Runaway Bride".

  • who is the lady with 6 eyes at 2:05 and what episode shes on?

  • @CaptainPeenNoPants Empress of the Racnoss, "The Runaway Bride" :)

  • This was made before The End of Time, before we realized the time lords became pure evil

  • 2:53 i'm pretty sure that was the living sun he was looking at but I love the vid anyway!

  • With all his powers to travel through space and time, the knowledge that spans the universe, and with his great heart to do good things, the only thing the Doctor can't do is save his own people. That would bring insurmountable tragedy to any being.

  • This would make a awsome trailer for The End of Time if it was a bit shorter and had a different font.

  • i think this is why the doctor acts crazy. because if he didn't he's be sad. i think the craziness is his way of covering up his sadness.

  • no offence to matt smith who is a great doctor but man, david tennant was just amazing!

  • he should say in every episode "for gallifrey!"

  • My lonely angel. My infinite savior. My ageless friend. My unforgettable memory. My Doctor.

  • Awesome

  • Face: this is the best doctor who video *snif*

zambo: face are you crying... you are making us look bad

    nice video man

  • Just once I think he should revisit Gallifrey even though it would be horrible to see him there remembering everything it would be probably a really profound episode going back to the very begining of the series.

  • @djwasser He can't, it's timelocked.

  • What episode was 1:39 from?

  • @wizrocker422 The Fires of Pompeii

  • @m0nd00man that's y the show has so much heart and makes me cry yet it makes me happy

  • the most mightiest race in the universe

  • the doctor is the saddest man in the universe and yet he is also the happiest

  • Isn't it ironic that the console of the Tardis looks like a Dalek...

  • you can't help but feel sorry for the doctor

  • Aww, David. <3

  • Great video.

  • Im crying, sdkjbvfaepi Such powerful shizz omg omg omg <3<3

  • There's one thing I don't get

The entire War is time locked, but what about Galifrey before the war?

  • @lol1143 That would be messing with his timeline, and i think it's mentioned it would take out 2/3 of the universe

  • @almightybooda It's messing with his time line to just go back in time to take a look at his planet's skies once in a while, just ease the pain a bit?

I'm not saying that he has to do anything to stop it. I'm saying I don't understand why he can't just visit his world

  • @lol1143 Oh, ok i misunderstood. I don't see anything wrong with that. I figure the doctor would not want to see the faces of people he killed, or it might be the fact that he would end up trying to save people and so he just avoids Galifrey. Shoot, timelords are telepathic and the doctor showing up might leak some information to them by accident. Either way, i think the doctor just doesn't want to take the risk

  • @lol1143 I don't see this /helping/. If I had gone through what the Doctor had, I /would not/ want to go back to the one place I knew I couldn't save, no matter what, no matter how much I may want to. I wouldn't want to interact with my loved ones and friends A; knowing I might accidentally harm them by changing things without even meaning to and B; knowing /they'll all be dead/.

  • @lolmama100 I'd like to see them try

  • This gave me shivers.

  • You my Friend, have made me Cry.

Let GallIfrey Live on more many more millenia in our memories

  • I want 3 minutes of my life back

  • @Thepivotking8 a hole

  • meanie

the time lord will get you

  • Pillars of Creation at 2:37 :DD

  • I want to press a button here, but i dont see the LOVE button anywhere... can anyone else find it?

  • I disagree with the 8 people who disliked this.

I agree with the 330 (and counting) people who like this.

    vote up if you agree.

  • Poor doctor. He has to keep going, keep saving the universe. If he stops, then he will have time to think of what he has lost.

  • did anyone else see the figures in the gas clouds

  • wait, this is beautifully sad.

  • wait, this is beautifully sad.

  • He was the best Doctor ever.

  • 8 Daleks watched this

  • @gameccnt189 no time lords

  • I love the 10th doctor I've acquired a love for him that I can't discribe he's just wonderful <3

  • "He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night and the storm in the heart of the sun... He's ancient and forever. He burns at the centre of time and can see the turn of the universe... and he's wonderful."

  • @TheMessiersAndromeda "And he has great hair. Really... great hair."

  • I think someone needs to do a doctor who show for Galifrey Before The Fall. . . good title maybe show a young doctor has a kid getting into all sorts of troubles and adventures xD

  • @Allelujah23Stabity umm, the classic series has galifrey before it fell...

  • @Allelujah23Stabity I'm kinda in the middle of doing a comic series of the Doctor and the Master at school...

  • @Allelujah23Stabity That's the 3rd and 4th doctor tbh.

  • Is it weird that I'm kind of obsessed with this planet? It's people, it's culture, it's cities, it's landscape. It just sounds so fantastical.

  • I've dreamt of Gallifrey :)

  • @SupernovikoTardis Me too. Gallifrey in all it's glory :)

  • they fucked up when they replaced tennant he is fucking awesome

  • @jellomanish so much fucking in one sentence? calm down, matt smith is a very good doctor also

  • I think the doctor's story will live on, even after there is no more doctor who on any more. And this video provides the information to back up this comment. And the song just backs this up even more, the song is sad but hopeful at the same time. Just like david tennent made people feel sometimes.

  • your strange and so is the video

  • Is there an episode where he actually goes to Gallifray?

  • @guardiecapt2010 In the older series, yes there are quite a few-Gallifrey was still around then, the Doctor hadn't destroyed it.

  • @templarknight94 o okay, thank you- do you know what decade? I've only watched since the 2005 episodes.

  • @guardiecapt2010 Umm, I think it begins with Season 6 - The War Games, then Season 9 - Colony in Space (but it only appears briefly in Colony in Space), then Season 10 - The Three Doctors, Season 14 - The Deadly Assassin, Season 15 - The Invasion of Time, and Season 20 - Arc of Infinity and The Five Doctors. These are only the appearences in the old series, the War Games is the 2nd Doctor. My personal favourite is The Deadly Assassin. Hope that helps! :D

  • Love this video! Fantastic job.

  • for someone to stop there own people they got guts

  • So emotional, must not cry, Oh who am j kiddin' (sob, sob)

  • Sad, cry and Last TimeLord..

  • 6 daleks fell out of hell and hacked into YouTube. *sigh*, they were better there in hell.

  • This made me want to cry...

  • I hope David Tenent shows up in the new Season as a guest star nest to Matt Smith, like a problem only 2 doctors can solve, id love to see what happens if they met each other XD

  • @Dragonitlas The next season, season 7, isn't coming until 2013, which is the 50th anniversary of DW. Moffat has plans, and his plans include David. Expect to see him. Unfortunately, Chris blatantly refused to return for the celebration.

  • Epic music for an epic video. :D

  • The theme is so appropriate, sad yet magnificent.

  • Tennant should do 1 more season where he and a random companion (rose is best if you ask me) somehow go back to the Time-War and have to help the Gallifreyans win (without using that end-of-time gizmo)

  • season ?

  • Can someone tell me what episode is at 2:03 please. Thanks.

  • @GodzGirl2427 The Runaway Bride

  • I wonder when they're going to bring Jenny back. They have to, they couldn't have kept her alive just for the heck of it. Now that the actress had David's daughter, she should be available for next season.

Amy's daughter, we still don't know how that came about. We'll sure find out though. I have a couple of theories, but you never know.

  • @zeldaofarel i think jenny will come back. i dont know how amys daughter came by though and we also dont know what happend to the doctor when he got killed in the impossible astronaut.

  • @zeldaofarel yea, i have been wondering about Jenny too. Why give her life if she is not going to be back in the series? She should have been on Stolen Earth, that would have been cool.

  • @DemonShadow352 It would have. Oh well, hopefully they won't just forget about her or leave her to be the plaything of fanfic authors. Anyone know a good fanfic that she's in?

  • @zeldaofarel well this new director is bring a lot of stuff up from the past. So he might bring her up soon. That would be awesome. Like he had the headless monks in the second weeping angels episode, and a few other little stuff.

  • @DemonShadow352 The Headless Monks have never been in anything else, just mentioned, but in the same ep as the Angels appeared for the second time. Jenny would be a great surprise for the Doctor. What I could see is her appearing on the ep where they find River. She's probably living in the Gamma Forest, since the only water in the forest is a river. That's also when the Doctor will meet Lorna Bucket.

  • @zeldaofarel yea, sorry what is what i meant. They were meantioned and i didn't notice that until i rewatched that one. i hope there is more Ood too. i like them for some odd reason lol. But yea. Also, i think the Silence were good guys( (of sorts), because it looked like they were trying to find Amy, also they were deffinantly not done. They showed up in the future so they are still here.

  • @DemonShadow352 I find the Ood creepy. The Silence is interesting. Kind of like the alien race we always thought were out there, shaping man kind. Though I guess they would not want us to be too developed.

  • @zeldaofarel i think they have a master too. I also want to know what put the Devil in the core of that planet. That would awesome to find out.

  • @zeldaofarel Melody is River Song.

  • @zeldaofarel

Very strange fact (although if u were a fan, this is old news) about the actors and a DW connection:

Georgia Moffet (Jenny) is engaged to David Tennant ( Doctor #10), in which, Moffet's father is Peter Davidson (Doctor 5#).

    How awesome is that??!!

  • @Cynderdragoness13 I know. Plus the two of them have a daughter. So the Doctor's daughter has a daughter with the Doctor. Kind of incest. :-D Still, 18 years from now we have to have Olivia Tennant in Doctor Who, or even sooner.

  • @zeldaofarel They DO need to bring Genny back. They can't just leave that hanging! She's half Time Lord! They can't just send her off flying through the universe and such and never encounter her again.....

Gosh, they need to bring her back. Plus, the fact that she's just AWESOME.

  • @Draconicqueen no she is full time lord because his dna was cut into a hundred pieces and shuffled into another pattern so she is 100%

  • @xXGothXGoddessXx But she was based on a human genetics pattern, with human knowledge and such. Her body doesn't regenerate fully because it's not fully Time Lord- she doesn't change her face, but she does return, and it takes a long time.

  • he didnt lose jenny, but he thinks he has, also the 11th Doctor has got Amy's daughter.

  • he didnt lose jnny, but he thinks he has, also the 11th Doctor has got Amy's daughter.

  • im sorry david but compared to matt you are a bit sucky because you were a bit much dramatic then the doctor should be and matt is funny and play the doctor a bit better but dont worry u are a better good looking !

  • @music4ever9712 that is evolution of the darleks it is the second part to darleks in Manhattan season 3 episodes 4 and 5

  • Well done!! :) I loved the part were he went 'It's name was... Gallifrey.' and the music goes Woooom. :D

  • So what did the people of Gallifrey become ultimately? false gods, or where they just fighting and threatening the universe?

  • @evolvingboard they went insane and they tried to kill themselves to become "creatures of consciousness alone"

  • This music fits gallifrey soooo much.

  • @music4ever9712 evolution of the darleks episode 6 season 3 David Tennat and Freema Agyman ie Martha Jones

  • Gallifrey turned into something bad. Didn't they??

  • Annihilation is only cool in the comics. BUT:

DAVID TENNANT IS THE BEST! :D

And Doctor Who is as good as a book. Suck on that Kenny Starfighter xD

  • What ep is 1;11 from?

  • Great video but heyyyy those tears are for Rose---!!! =)

  • i dont care if it doesn't relate but listening to him talk about Gallifrey, the emotion he puts into it, the sadness and weight of his words....it makes me homesick.

  • 4 people are Daleks.

  • WOW!!!! great editing! I really enjoyed this--thank you!!!!!

  • The Time Lords, the one of the oldest race and the most powerful in all aspects. only the daleks would come close to power over time it self the that was only at the end of the time war (some tech stolen) now the Time Lords are talked about in Myths like Gods

  • @LordRaven222 The oldest and most powerful.

  • Isn`t it Galifrey? :O

  • As long as the Doctor lives on then Gallifrey will too!! BTW david tennant the best doctor of all time! xxxxxxxxxxx

  • @LoveOBxxxx he's also the ultimate fanboy not only was he able to become the doctor for 3 seasons he also is now going to be married to the daughter of one of the previous doctors, the lucky bastard. still we have to love him.

  • This video is amazing!

  • hi what effect siystem do you use

  • Beautiful , just beautiful..............

  • What episode is the scene from where he's in the spacesuit looking down on Gallifrey as it burns?

  • @ericulas that wasn't Gallifrey burning, that scene was just used. It was the one about the station that took power from a living sun.

  • love it

  • damn i cant find the soundtrack anywhere going to have to buy it off the internet

  • there are 4 daleks among us who dont like timelords

  • i hope they make an episode where he does go back and saves gallifrey

  • the doctor stopped the daleks but the time lords died as well

  • i feel his pain

  • why episodes is 1:21

  • @avptremor its the very end of Journey's end 4x13

  • @avptremor Journey's End

  • DAVID TENNANT ROCKS "some" OF THE UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • david is the best doctor

  • he must have felt a tad guilty too since he just really despised Gallifrey and everyone there...

  • Beautiful. And perfectly arranged clips to go with it.

Ten's sorrow at losing his home is so intense and haunting. Having said that, and shed the appropriate tears at David Tennant's flawless performance!, I have to say Matt Smith's Doctor's attitude is much more to my liking - "It was a bad day, bad things happened. And I'd love to forget it all, every last bit. But I don't." -still pained, but stoic and altruistic. Wonderful.

At this point, I must resort to a little squee:Team TARDIS ftw.

  • its so sad - at the bit at the end of the fires of pompeii, you can see how much the doctor would love to change things - - alas, he cant :(

  • I just love the soundtrack to this vid! Lovely tribute to Doctor Who and Gallifrey!

  • i LOVE that fires of Pompeii part, but the whole video mate-you have done an excellent job!!, people sooo under rate this kinda think-goosebumps every time!!!

  • ok i just came to a realization fact is that when the pandorica opens all of the doctors old enemys come back but what if there was a rift in gallifrey does that mean when the pandorica opens gallifrey will come back

  • I know the doctor destroyed his own people and the Daleks but there was no help from the Master as at the start of the war he was resurredted and was scared and traveled himself to the end of time.

  • dr who is jusst not the same without david tennant!!

  • david tennant is the best doctor, and nothing will ever beat the season4 finale

  • I love this piece of music the best score written for any Doctor Who episode I think

    xx

  • He had to destroy them twice, to end the timewar and then in end of time. that has to be so hard. i wouldn't be able to do that to earth

  • i wonder if they'l put gallifrey again on the new doctor series, if u remeber when the master open the door it look like a crack, same as the one thats following amy, and it says that its a crack that was couse by something to powerfull, maybe it was when they try to bring gallifrey. ? any one think the same ?

  • awsome! david tennet is and always be the best doctor who ever when he "died" i like cryed and wouldent talk to anyone for 3 days but matt smith seems.... alright but he cant replace david tennant

  • @silverfeather988 i so agree!!! David Tennant is the Doctor im warming up to Matt Smith he is good but it's just imposible to reaplace David!

  • @allthatjass He isn't replacing tennant. Tennant is the tenth and always will be, and matt is the eleventh and always will be. Still thanx for giving matt a chance. I'm just tired of people looking at it that way.

  • @Dynamicfaithfullove know it's not really fair but I loved Tennat I'm spanish so I never knew about Doctor who until I went to london to study and Tennant had just started. So Tennant is the Doctor that I knew, that got me hooked up, that I fell in love with and while I started watching other Doctors in my mind Tennant has always stayed as the Doctor MY Doctor.

  • @Dynamicfaithfullove But Matt is good I was all prepared to hate him at the beginning haha but I can't I'm hooked again. But it would be great to at least see him in his DoctorDonna human version. I know, I'm hopeless. hahaha

  • @Dynamicfaithfullove Completely agree. A lot of people don't see that each Doctor brings something different and equally important to the show. There is no hierarchy. Just because David is hot doesn't mean Matt should be disreguarded. For me Matt's up with Tom. Because bow ties are cool... and so are jelly babies.

  • i cried soooooooo much when David left, but that last episode was amazing! I think alongside Donna Noble's theme song it is THE best.

  • Amazing! *clears teardops*

  • FANTASTIC!!!

  • this sends shivers down my spine

  • Everyone thought after Bill Hartnell left and Pat troughton took over it would fall apart.. here we are 47 years later.... go figure

  • "The sky's a bright orange, with a citadel enclosed in a mighty glass dome, shining under the twin suns. Beyond that the mountains go on forever; slopes of deep red grass, capped with snow."

    -The Doctor

  • i cant wait for the new series matt is guna be awsome

  • this was fantastically done

  • This is an excellent compilation and video, thank you!

  • david was just TOO good. his doctor was so fun, light hearted, n humble. but also dark tourtured and deep.

I dont care what anyone says, the doctor who series ended with him.

  • I think the most desperately sad thing is that the Doctor was the one to ultimately defeat his own people, because of what they had become. With the help of the Master of course, but still.

  • @knails I still think there's something incredibly heroic about a hero with enough guts to stop his own race - not just once, but twice - when they crossed the line even though he loved them so much. It shows how powerful the Doctor's commitment to morality, justice, and doing the right thing really is. If only the other Time Lords had been more like him...

  • @heavyarms01h some were but if you whached the doctor mother they all were killed by house

  • @heavyarms01h I know I'll get yelled at for this but I don't think Matt Smith really catches this essence.

  • @knails Actually, he defeated his people back in his eigth form, and not much is known about that event. The Doctor that you're referring to (10) simply stopped them from bringing that event (including the eighth Doctor and 'The Moment' (Possible De-Mat Gun?)) to Earth, which also would've been destroyed.

  • Comment removed

  • @Midnaspalace I'm sorry? What are you talking about? :) Maybe you've got me mixed up with someone else lol

  • @knails Sorry for bothering you but what exactly happened again? my doctor knowledge has gaps.

  • @knails well, in the most recent ep, the doctors wife (it was the most recent when I wrote this!) he says:

you've killed thousands of timelords? I've killed them all.

  • i know to this new doctor well he looks crap acts crap bring him back tennant you are the best doctor look on youtube if you type docter whos you see him funny and very good act and it feels so real a donner and tennant they work well there the best ever

  • Couldn't agree more
